I was nervous when I saw this topic as it had me thinking the shows actually were cancelled! Phew!
Working with covid patients from the beginning to today, losing so much spirit and joy, the lack of shows (for good reason then), coming down with covid myself, and getting vaccinated due to a mandate... I will say I am truly looking forward to spending NYE with DSO and dear friends.
We need to take caution, be vigilant, and do what is right for ourselves.
We need joy.
Signed,
Exhausted RN

Hi, Doc! It's too bad we won't be seeing you over NYE. I remember having you there on the 20th anniversary shows. I hope all is well and your health is on the mend. How kind of you to offer these tickets. I am driving to Albany and doing both the 31st & 1st, and have not bought tix yet! If you find yourself so inclined, I would gladly put one each night to use!
My Best,
Amanda

Interested in just 1 if you're willing to sell separate.

Starting out the second leg of winter tour in my state, yay! I went to the last DSO show at the palladium (2017?) and it's a cool place. It is actually "cool" too, which makes for a comfortable night of dancing. I hope they haven't upgraded the heating system 😜
DSO has been giving the NE some serious love, and I am so here for it!
Psyched for a lot of these shows!

A weekend of music for the books. So crowded second night but made it work. Terrapin 1st night highlight for me! I wanted it and they delivered.
Box opener got me right in the feels like it always does. Bliss and a heavy heart both felt throughout second night.
Post DSO show glow in full effect.

In case you missed it, I read this on the capitol theatres covid policy page. Come prepared! Can't wait!
"ALL PATRONS 12 AND OVER MUST SHOW PROOF OF EITHER FULL VACCINATION OR A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST TAKEN WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ENTRY."

I'm in for Ft. Lauderdale & St. Pete's. I haven't been to FL for over a decade, after going every single year with my family growing up. First time catching DSO there!!! Bonus that a local friend moved to St. Petersburg last year

That song has a special place in my heart also. I won’t bother you with the story as it pales in comparison to your human level, but, yes, that song showed up in my life at a time that I needed it. Heaven sent at a time I was questioning how I was going to get through a situation. That one gets me to stop dancing and just take it in.
If the song resonates with you and holds a special place in your heart, there is no need for comparison. That should go for every song that touches us. Most of this music can be interpreted in such different ways by all of us who really hear the lyrics and music, and they are all important interpretations however different they may be.

Waiting for a miracle was a song that I really connected with following my moms diagnosis with brain cancer. So I understand NE. Even though no real miracle has come she's still with us and has beaten the odds which is a miracle. We visit my mom in less than 2 weeks will be good to be with her again despite her weakened state.
Yes Mc aka Tom banjo, I remember our conversation about how this song resonates despite knowing a miracle mat not come. Maybe that's the beauty of it and why we are drawn to it. I'm glad you get to see her and give her your love... Nothing like a son and his momma. My moms favorite is my brother though she denies it.

Melvin and JGB at the Wilbur in Boston, MA
How sweet it is
They love each other
Get out my life woman
Scarlet begonias
?
The night they drove old dixie down
After midnight
Eleanor Rigby instrumental
New Speedway boogie
When i paint my masterpiece
Waiting for a miracle
Deal
*** waiting for a miracle *** my highlight. It's been a healing tune for me the past year coping with my brother being sick. They delivered. I was brought to tears.
Wilbur was not at capacity so despite tight security, we were able to find ample dance space just behind ga floor. ❤💙❤

Some rise, some fall, some climb to get to Terrapin
And pretty much the lyrics to Terrapin in their entirety

Is it really just in Eyes of the World? Could it be true? Seems like there is another, but just don’t know. Great one!1. Copper
2. Circular
3. Junkie
4. Reeling
5. Helm
6. Token
7. Fragile
8. Rod
9. Dragon
10. Wildflower
Pretty sure it's just eyes. If I'm wrong I'd love to know which other song I'm forgetting it is in.
Those are some tricky ones for me anyway but 10) wildflower has to be franklins

As of now, I will be there. I think even with some fall shows that are yet to be announced, they will be seldom, and I've got to take every chance I can.
Colorado is a favorite to visit anyway.

Well, I didn't follow the rules that were implied (upper deck) and now learning more of the intent, I'll give it another go.

Happy Birthday North East! I have a short clip of you dancing with everything at Fredrick but lack the technological wherewithal to deliver it to you. Some day, you’ll laugh when you see it.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! I'm sure I will laugh yes, as I am already giggling thinking of what dancing "with everything" means. I did have my hands full a few different times throughout the show. Bottle of wine?

Wow!!! Just as I was coming to terms with missing this weekend. Happy for those friends there though. 😍

Lest we not forget those less fortunate than ourselves who will not be at the show but would still love to know what they play. Don’t be like me after the slower Delaware show and totally drop the ball and forget to report set lists, etc. enjoy yourselves, shake it out while we wait to hear how much fun we missed out on.
We have @Tea on site and he hasn't let the forums down with a set list before, at the show or not! 😉🙌

Early 70s, couldn't tell you the year or show. I really enjoy the jovial energy of the transition into rider from that general time period.

Reschedule Albany palace theater shows covid is out of control d

If the CDC can tell healthcare workers it's ok to work 5 days after testing positive for covid, these shows can happen with a healthy band/crew.
