I don't look at a lot of Furthur sets but last night I was on a message board and glanced at what they did for the first set.

I went to bed and then something happened to my brain 30 minutes later, and I went downstairs to dig up the deadbase and found the first set I was looking for (in seconds flat)--a set that is remarkably similar.

I come home tonight and see the second set they played which could not have been a coincidence.

So I poked around just now and found out (from others) that the show in 82 was apparently Phil and Jill's first date. So I am assuming it was a Valentines present from Jill to Phil initially, as in "here's the show I picked for you guys to play," and then from Phil to Jill as the night unfolded.

Or maybe it was just a nice idea between two lovers.

pfffft. Charlie Miller. Master a show or two and all of a sudden he knows setlists. I'm not impressed.

Seriously!

I put it together after the first set.

I'm betting it took him until about the Eyes.

I've had it up to here with that guy (pointing to my forehead right now).

WOW !!!

well played {both figuratively & literally}...

and, i'd've thunk that it'd been exactly alike, 'cept bird song & loser were played the 2 previous nights...{plus, i don't think they've played All Over Now, as yet}...

anyhow...WOW !!!
