It's going to be good!

Ive been going through 88 this week on the gulf, no deadbase, and was rolling through my head "when was the Shakedown" as I had done Minnesota through Rochester. Now I know it was at The Greek, thanks Bill. As far as Littlefeat goes, theyve been playing for years. This Waiting for Columbus is a sales gimmick. Period.

Weird too because didn't the other two open the shows with Wang Dang Doodle? Hartford always seemed to get dosed good.

Connection....no stone unturned, killer setlist. I heard the Sympathy was a highlight

Frost 82

If you make it we'll have a table for you on the rail if its indoors, which can be quite the experience. I'm thinking of dressing in a covid vacc card going as "compliance", the costume card will be 6 ft big so as to keep social d in place

It blows me away when some one asks "what do you want me to do to, to do for you, to see you through?" Ive seen Hunter open a six song set, on his knees begging Box of Rain to all of us. Lee hit home with this last night bringing out tears of gratitude and thankfulness that we all love and care for each other in this world of grateful dead, regardless of the band thats laying down the music

Thank Robyn if you get a chance for sending me first row center for my hometown show 4/8/89!

gone are the days we stopped to decide where we should go, we just ride Doing alright, keeping these crazy shows everyone here keeps bringing up running Still want to see and jam a show with everyone on these four rums Gonna be in Northern California for two weeks in July if anyone knows of something happening?

I learned the lesson from this show also, going up for only the Saturday 4/6/85 show because I was working the assembly line and couldn't miss work in my first 90 days. Others from our group stayed on and came back with the tales that revealed touring was what had to happen

Phil is big in the fire Crispy, clear, clean, deep audio. Check out Bobby maxing out with his slide lead in little red, the other one split ends up working well.

Ya gonna listen to st PATRICK'S day shows all day DD?

I think a lot of us were at the carrier dome on Saturday 10/20/84 of, what about 60,000?, to that 4 night run at BCT of 3500. Kinda exemplifies the different energy levels of east coast versus west shows. Thanks for the dive BK. 1985 started for me by getting my high school concert friend (after I had been to red Rocks in '83 and Las Vegas in '84) to make the 12 hour drive for the two spring Hampton shows. Opened with Alabama and he was deadicated. Then philly, alpine, cincy, blossom, Hershey, red rocks, and my first California shows were new years to end out '85 and begin the all in of '86 (except the March BCT shows 🙁). The Eel River August 87 JGB and Black mtn Boys had only about 400 people there. Was the 88 eel river show only minimally attended?

Mask wearing gets rid of expressions, citizen control at it's finest

1987 Jerry Garcia Band at The Stone, SF $10.00 for two sets with Jerry pulling up to the front door and being dropped off as we were all waiting in line to get in. 34 years ago. Wonderin' what (or if we'll still be able) to write about 34 years from today?

Daniel Lanois has a show scheduled for 10/30/21 @ 8pm in Toronto, Koerner Hall, with Heavy Sun, gonna be ridiculous. Hoping this goes south 🙃, like right through Chicago, Indy, Nashville, New Orleans

Known to some elders who have studied the hierarchy: Maslow had collective consciousness above self actualization. Once we become what we can become we can tap into that of all. I'm reeling in sorrow for the loss of your mother and am still stricken by the loss my own who passed on July 17 this year. A Grief Odserved by CS Lewis is a good read at times like this. It's a small 68 page book. Thanks for letting it be known about the love between a mother and a son.
