  1. They were hinting at the death don't a few times during the first set. I told whitney they were going to play death don't sometime around rider. Set had a Covid related lose of loved one theme with a box opener and essentially death don't closer.
  2. We get down bigger tonight And I didn't post until this morning. Woke up and it wasn't up yet. Had to text a Rob to get a date. Then shot it right up.
  3. Good catch I don't know if they'll let me edit it now so I guess we get to entries from this date
  4. Big shakedown. Lost sailor. Dew. 2nd set was big.
  5. I've done that festival before. We will def be there.

We've heard of some positive tests for Covid. I'm vaccinated and have had COVID at least twice so I don't feel like I would even notice much if I had it again. Maybe a scratchy throat or minor cough but that's happens after a night of partying or smoking too many cigars.
  7. We will see you there. Getting excited.
  8. We planning on Atlanta what's the name of the hotel? My recent car trouble has hindered my plans but I'm still committed to figuring it out.
  9. The morning dew last night was special, the interplay of note per note exchange between Eaton and JK was supremely blissful at the peak of intensity when the music and sound all seemed to hold still in that forever moment of the truest outpouring love. It was as if the world had stopped and I took a deep breathe for the first time in ages.
  10. I lean more towards comes a time Stella blue and the three piece of help through franklins. I even feel terrapin carried more actual weight but morning dew in the right spot obviously carries quite a bit of power. I think when it appeared early in the first set even possibly as the opener my mind isn't open enough for me and it often falls flat compared to when it is in the Jerry ballad spot. Although much rarer I also feel world to give had tremendous power
  11. Dead feat in New Orleans was a good time. That was where whitney and I fell in love. I'll never forget that night. We went to a late night show after that and whitney passed out standing up in my arms. A friend said take her out back maybe she will get a second wind. Staff eventually told me I had to get her out of there. Such a unique vibe in New Orleans in many places security medics and even police might have been involved. They let us sit out back for like an hour and then decided that hey you just have to go. I miss New Orleans. Plan to do jazz fest again soon.
  12. Great live album. The horns are essential though. Tower of power.
  13. No Colorado. Would go but prefer in state.
  14. We in for the weekend can't make Orlando. Excited for the atl plus Florida back to back weekends. I doubt employer is going to be thrilled but fuck em I need me some DSO.
  15. I think whitney and I plus Delilah are in for this one. Delilah gonna crush it on that floor.

    Down goes Bama.
  17. Waiting for a miracle was a song that I really connected with following my moms diagnosis with brain cancer. So I understand NE. Even though no real miracle has come she's still with us and has beaten the odds which is a miracle. We visit my mom in less than 2 weeks will be good to be with her again despite her weakened state.
  18. If you making the trip out for these, please do get in touch we would like to show off are home and provide travelers we know with a place to shower and sleep if necessary. We are an hour from the venue.
  19. Rude such a good guy
  20. Wedding still only takes 1 day. Can fly to and from Puerto Rico same day. If you in wedding party I guess I understand but you could still make one of these and skip a day or two of the dog and pony show.
  21. Found weddings don't take two days. I better see you at one of these shows. I miss you
  22. DSO can't schedule a 13 date indoor tour right now. They wouldn't if they could in my estimation but the promoters and venues won't sign off on it. A DSO tour when and where it happens is up to more than those that deliver us the goods.
  23. Whit and I will be there.
  24. Covid is on the rise again. I don’t think we going to get more shows again until the Spring but I don’t know anything. Maybe we get something. Just don’t think we will.
  25. We are doubtful. Between it being a difficult ticket and the travel expenses. Plus having two kids. It’s just not in the cards. I even think we gonna have to sit Cincinnati out. I’m hopeful we get more DSO before Jamaica but if that’s the case Jamaica will be all that much sweeter. We get that Halloween run here in Colorado too. Not DSO but certainly quality Dead music.
