Good work guys, you were all over
those. What other band could put
away songs for 20 years? Seriously.

I’m wondering if New Potato Caboose is the same New Potato Caboose from the late Eighties. Those guys were pretty good back then. One guy dropped out, they started calling themselves Radio Mosaic. They used to play Andy’s in Chestertown about once a month. Based in DC area?
The DC version of New Potato played outside of
McKeldin Library when I was at Maryland. I biked
around the mall dosed while they played Let It Grow,
a clear memory of my youth.

Original Recipe
China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider, Black Throated
Wind, Ramble On Rose, Tom Thumb Blues, Mama Tried>
Big River, Rueben and Cherise, BIODTL, Big Railroad Blues>
Feel Like A Stranger,
Shakedown Street, Run Rudolph Run, Sugar Magnolia>
Terrapin Station>Jam>Drums>Space>Dark Star teases>
Throwin Stones>Uncle John's Band>China Doll>Sunshine.
E: Oh! Darling>Love The One Your With.
Inspired elective rocks the hallowed halls in Jim Thorpe.
Light and airy duo flag drop, the cowboy twofer a hoedown.
Rueben always welcome and well executed pair close the
first, the Stranger especially funked out. Shakedown a
monster, embedded Sugar Mag sandwich new, the Terrapin
and attached jam lovely. Jam outta space wonderful play
with themes before landing on the Stones. China Doll crushed,
and paired with the Black Pete in Harrisburg we got the goods
in the slow Jerry slot. Mango was thrilled with the Oh! Darling.
My love of the balcony dance crew knows no bounds.

78/01/17 Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, CA
Promised Land, Dire Wolf, Cassidy, Loser, Looks Like Rain,
Row Jimmy, Minglewood, Must Have Been the Roses,
Music Never Stopped.
Bertha>Good Lovin', Candyman, Estimated Prophet,
He's Gone>Drums>Other One, Black Peter,
Truckin'>Around and Around.
E: US Blues
F: Piece of My Heart.
Full strength band slays recreation to the delight of
veterans and rookies alike. Bob selections had some
traction, MNS a first set close OK in my book.
Business picked up after intermission, opening duo
a romp, Candyman dreamy, Other One touched the Star.
among others in epic journey void of the final verse,
Pete a pindropper. I dig the late Truckin' and attached
to Round a fine close. Lisa shined brightly on Piece.
I spent the evening with dear friends, I love you all.

Entire show just exactly perfect.
The 77 energy/sound fantastically
woven into the list.
Had a great crew and adequate space
to really dial in the dance energy.
Our band really delivers the goods,
the show journey never gets old.
A lovely evening was had.

Hello all,
After a year of total freedom, a new job has
kept me busy and without time off, so I have
contributed to the lack of posts, as well as
not seeing a show since Caverns.
Fortunately the clouds have cleared as I
bought tickets for XL and Penn's Peak Tuesday.
Let the countdown begin.

Hmmmm, no Georgia Dates?
Hardly surprised after the Thanksgiving shows last year in Atlanta, Skip actually gave the crowd a homework assignment to all in attendance to bring 4 or 5 friends to the next nights' show!
Huge dance space at that pair.

22/12/17 Mother's Cafe and Bar, Arnold, MD
Cold Rain and Snow, St. Stephen, Corinna, Row Jimmy,
Chinatown Shuffle, Tennessee Jed, Passenger, Big RR
Blues, Greatest Story, Help>Slip>Frank.
Hell In A Bucket, Touch of Grey, Unbroken Chain,
Ship of Fools, Run Rudolph Run, He's Gone>Music
Never Stopped>Stella Blue>One More Saturday Nite.
E: Casey Jones.
Bless local Dead.
Home and showered by 12:15.
Christmas party at the local tavern sweeps all on
a ride of joy. Appropriate opener, first time played
Chinatown Shuffle absolutely killed. Passenger
Big RR a fine combo and the H-S-F well executed.
Bucket opener reminded of NYE87. The Unbroken
had a nice end jam segment, apparently RRR not only
for Penn's Peak. Music off the He's Gone worked.
I had a full runway for the OMSN.
Hope all are well and Happy Holidays.
