Uh...I got vax cause significant other is going through chemotherapy. Previously we decided not to get it, since disease is deadly to the tune of 80% to old and sick people....just like pretty much all illnesses...and thinking our immune systems would mitigate. I have physics degree and she is director of nursing at long term care facilities. Not exactly uninformed. She became defenseless. So I got vax... I guess when it comes to natural processes like climate which humans are allegedly harming to some detriment, I am more concerned with natural selection where I know humans are screwing with it. Closer to Darwin than Trump (but thanks for opportunity to get vax) with no Proud Boys in sight. So my significant other, who is not vaxed cannot join in me in pit at Deer Creek for Dead and Co. Even if it was her desire. I would have gotten vax card....not necessarily vax if my live music life required it.

Finally....no politics .!

Venues decide? How is it that all the venues Dead and Co have exactly same vaccine requirements (only pit needs proof)? Seems more like collusion or decision made by other than venue. Why no vax needed to be in pit for Luke Bryan at Deer Creek? Either vax people are protected or not. While vaccinated I can see where hesitancy is reasonable and no cause for discrimination. If I had a venue I would make people over 6 ft tall to be in back.

Louisville too close to miss. PODS, MASKS, VAXS, be damned...as well as science apparently Been normal in my local establishments for months. Dead and Co following science as well in a couple of months.

Hollering....CDC is bunch of buffoons. Been seeing live music indoors at bars for 3 months now with no mask or capacity limits. This was pre vax and no outbreaks occurred. Just have to stay north of the Ohio River and East of Wabash. Price of Chinese knockoff CDC vax cards just went up! Be interested in seeing what Home Depot, Walmart, Legend Valley, Soldier Field lot, etc...do.

Sweet shows...great venue with good sound and since my pod mate was the proverbial wanderer could dance with plenty of room. Prefer pods over parked car. Vaccinations obviously immaterial and fear that won’t change. Love how when China Doll or Stella Blue ( fri night) began you could hear a pin drop...even on the grass, with the moon beaming, and trees in back of venue lit up beautifully.

Cervantes and Caverns so much better than possible restrictive parking lot BS. I see how vaccinated not even bothered to be mentioned in upcoming shows, not just DSO but for all that I have seen,. Will go if get tix or car seat...tried to PM with error🤨

My experience with that is there is a good chance they may rebel against you.

Streamed Thur and Fri and attended Sat & Sun early. These were dancing sprints from first note to last. Got my dancing fix I was surely jonesing for. Seeing JK with RE and Barraco...had one of those flashes... Glad they kissed and made up.

I am 2 nights streaming and 2 nights of being there...Appetizer than main course.

Counting on Lockn this October to be closer to old normal than this hopefully waning, much less satisfying, car or pod compromise.

1985 for me... 3/24,25,27,28,29 6/21,22,24 10/31, 11/1,2 11/16,17 From Springfield Mass to Long Beach CA. Although working for fortune 500 company, my last 10+ show year before marriage, kids etc...

Touring mostly alone makes these more difficult as without 2 people pods, (knew price of seeing DSO was going to go up) Can do this only if I join up with three or 5 willing others. Any takers?

Since doing caverns and jubilation pods will skip unless can be fifth wheel lol. Being semi tethered to vehicle last year took away something but was better than nada.

Due to all delays am now in need of joining or partnering with folks to do some of these shows. Any days or times.

Good job Rude....full year tax deduction plus stimulus for little one. Not bad for 1 months poop. Of cause there is the next year. 18 year sentence without parole....I still enjoyed fatherhood.
