  1. Favorite show I was at…”The Mescaline Show” Springfield Mass 3/11/78 Lots of roaring and giggling in the lyrics…broke out werewolves masks. Great acid and hot girlfriend to boot. Cold Rain BIODTL FOTD Looks Like Rain Loser Mexicali Mama Tried Tennessee Jed Minglewood Peggy O Lazy Lightning Supplication Scarlet Fire Dancin in the Streets D/S NFA Stella Blue Around & Around Werewolves Johnny B Goode close second was 6 months earlier at Englishtown.
  2. Shakedown peeps resourceful and resilient. There is always a closest lot venue doesn’t rule. Aggressive law enforcement “looking for trouble” not a good mix.
  3. Alone with the rush of the drivers drivers that won’t pick me up The drool the beard the mask and the yuck
  4. You are right , inadvertently included injuries…however it is still #1 cause of death for people aged 1-54. Vaccinated or not! Actually got vaccinated so Bobby can spit on me in the pit
  5. Current 7 day avg deaths per day US from Covid…550 Avg auto deaths per day us…3200 More likely to die driving to and from shows then dying from some dirty white privileged hippie infested with Covid hugging you. Vaccinated or not!
  6. Sorry, as before, all for no good god damn reason. A virus came along and by tune of 80% killed old sick people…oh wow The song society should sing….Nobody’s Fault But Mine You can still transmit viruses to other people who although vaxxed may still be subject as you are to breakthrough cases and have a one in a gizzillion chance of dying. Unacceptable to idiots running this circus. It ain’t me it’s people that say. Warn again…Don’t be fooled again!
  7. It appears they are doing something at Jazz Fest

Governer’s Island NY was storm-shortened 7/11/09 Quite a storm with a ferry needed to get back to mainland. Thought we would capsize in the revelry Remember the band quickly ended show after drums with We bid u goodnight. Keller was also there.
  9. Heat beer index was off the charts…friend cited above passed out mid sentence in grass lot. Woke up 1 minute later with no effects or affects. Another show…another story.
  10. Took my buddy to this…his first dead show. 14 years later he talked me into seeing a band called Dark Star Orchestra…“they play entire dead shows!”

Seeing JT was the highlight…solid first show for a 5 month old. Could tell he enjoyed the scene…Apple doesn’t fall far… It really did feel like a normal show except for cars in the way. Space was in front or behind parked cars as in between could only fit single file. Very little security hassles in line with good time crowd.
  13. Lost in Rochester NY in 1977 looking for War Memorial…when I asked gas station attendant where it was, he replied…” you mean where that sing along dance band is playing?”
  14. As previously posted my favorite was 1/31/2005 I cried at my first 1/22/99 Danced like it was 1999 at Jubilation two weeks ago Dont have 300 shows….more like 400 and change Hope “the best” is yet to come…or whats the point?
  15. Due to unforeseen circumstances find myself with spots in my vehicle…first three rows center…both nights…any interested parties?
  16. Was 2 pods to the right of front middle with more space than that happy pod. Thanks to Dave...a guy I met at RR first year DSO played. Announced at some point as Skips birthday. Opening bombs of GSET "whether we liked it or not!" Stage left along with Eaton, they were having a blast. Been awhile since I have seen Rob doing Weir gyrations in front of stage so much. Elective bliss with Dylan overtones in honor of his 80th. Even stumbled into MC and his women exiting.
  17. Hard to believe. When I got my presale tix plenty of reserved pods available although I got Front GA Pods. Pent up demand in general is one thing but 2K tix that quick?
  18. DSO Louisville tix slightly more than B Strings and way less than Styx. Set ups differ slightly as well. 2 sections GA pods for DSO 4 for Styx.
  19. Nothing personal. I agree band insisted. So they are either not all vaccinated, or are and have vax efficacy hesitancy, or they don’t believe in the science or they can care less of the vast majority outside pit. Willing to listen to alternative reasoning. Weir being ass....is reasonable but does not eliminate options above. They may be asinine enough to think a significant number of individuals are going to vax so they can be in pit for dead and co. Good grief.
  20. Glad they at least acknowledge the lunacy. Fall/winter tour should not be a problem then as there are many venues they have previously played ( hence I am on mailing list ) that are currently booking in that time frame with full capacities. While venue may have stricter rules or even band itself, it is the “event organizer”...think Peter Shapiro...that determines the rules....according to Deer Creek (Ruhoff) website.
  21. Uh...I got vax cause significant other is going through chemotherapy. Previously we decided not to get it, since disease is deadly to the tune of 80% to old and sick people....just like pretty much all illnesses...and thinking our immune systems would mitigate. I have physics degree and she is director of nursing at long term care facilities. Not exactly uninformed. She became defenseless. So I got vax... I guess when it comes to natural processes like climate which humans are allegedly harming to some detriment, I am more concerned with natural selection where I know humans are screwing with it. Closer to Darwin than Trump (but thanks for opportunity to get vax) with no Proud Boys in sight. So my significant other, who is not vaxed cannot join in me in pit at Deer Creek for Dead and Co. Even if it was her desire. I would have gotten vax card....not necessarily vax if my live music life required it.
