  4. same here. Looks like an error on AXS
  5. That’s a very good question. I was very lucid in the moment, catching the Imagine tease early into it. The fog set in when the morning came around and that’s all I got. 😁
  6. Set 1: Alabama Getaway Greatest Story Brown Eyed Women Minglewood Lazy River Road Hard to Handle Maggie’s Farm Cumberland Blues Jack Straw Set 2: Bertha Good Lovin Shining Star Imagine Alligator Drums Low Spark Box of Rain Days Between? JBG E: Black Muddy River *second set is pretty foggy…
  7. Stu was a great fill-in. They mentioned changing their name to Dark Stu Orchestra. Sat Nite opener was a surprise … wondered where we’d go from there. One of those Tolstoy-esque Dylan tunes, Memphis Blues was great and seemed to go on forever. Let it Grow was perfect to hear on the Hog Farm. Pocky Way was real tight and Playin got real loose. On a clear, starry night with the moon and shooting stars in full view, they tore into Terrapin and Standing on the Moon. The crowd kept up the NFA a capella for a full two minutes. It was a great night until one speedy camper decided to roust the entire camp and scream “wake the f up” at a quarter to six in the morning. Feisty discussions ensued with many a stfu’s. Hopefully people got their rest for tonight.

Nice outdoor venue on the water. Kayakers watch for free.
  10. I went to both Wrigley shows and I hate to admit it but I had a great time. There’s def a Disneyland/Football game vibe (Chicago show has something to do with it, def different at Folsom). First night opener Women Are Smarter was pretty powerful with Roe/Wade decision. Could feel the angry energy in the stadium and in Bobby’s voice. He also changed lyrics to Throwin later about the Supreme Court. Eyes > Bertha was kinda sweet n’ slow like ‘74. Dark Star was just weird which I guess is a good thing. BEW is not my favorite but they kinda ripped it in the middle, esp Jeff. Drums/Space was great esp in a stadium setting. Mickey is Mickey and that’s doesn’t change. I think they have a new sound system which is pretty crisp. Miles Davis out of space was a nice touch. Cumberland. Talk about tempo. It was fast and good. The 10 minutes wore me out. NFA with no encore (curfew). Bob just said “Mañana” and walked off. Second night Scarlet opener was as slow as molasses. But was interesting to hear Scarlet Fire stand alones. Very good bluesy Speedway. Mayer does best on bluesy rockers. Trippy ones like Slipknot or Fire, not so much. Casey Jones 2nd set opener. Don’t know what kinda coke they’re taking but sounded more like a heroin dirge. I like a rippin Casey unless it’s a really groovy version. This was neither. Average Franklins. Always get emotional hearing Bobby sing Days. Idk. Esp in Chicago. OMSN. Good Lord. Haven’t heard Bob belt out a scream at the end like that in ages. Brokedown. Mayer should not be singing it. Overall it’s a good time. Even with the lame crowd, there’s something about a stadium show that makes it fun. Hearing 30,000 people sing NFA as the band walks off is pretty neat. Yup. That’s what Garcia said about players like Eddie Van Halen. Like Mayer, they’re good guitarists but have nothing to say. The shows didn’t take me anywhere. There was no journey. But it was fun. That’s it.
