    San Francisco Night #2

This was my first time at the Warfield, and what an absolutely wonderful place. Sound was exceptionally crystal clear. And what an incredible pair of shows - Unforgettable. Can't wait to go back :3

    Paradise

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_at_the_Fillmore_East_2-11-69 > There is a hidden track at the end of the disc. "Cosmic Charlie" was played as an encore, but the tape ran out mid-song, and there was no way to repair it.

I think Cosmic Charlie was the actual encore, not just filler. This was the first time I knew which date it was prior to the announcement. It's one of \emph{the} shows that got me into this band - I've listened to it countless times, and to finally be able to experience it in person was just magical. These guys are the real deal. The venue and community there just feels so comfy and friendly too - I hope they keep doing this one.

    NYE 12/31/17

This is the most important thing happening anywhere on the planet right now. If there's a way into a desirable future from here, it will be found in that room. These guys are the real deal - Tell your friends, bring them. What a wonderful year it's been, and what an incredible run of shows to cap it all off - From here on I will never miss a DSO newyears. Love you all dearly. Praise DSO indeed.
  7. Old school I consider more to be '68/'69 with the Hammond and 2 drummers. This was '72/'73 middle[jr high] school. One of the few places I've been where people didn't just drop their empty cups on the ground - They cared to keep the dance floor clean, was really nice.
