The Jubilee, Black Mountains, Boulder/Red Rocks, and the entire newyears run were all incredibly special and important to me - It seems blashphemous to even try and choose, but to cap it at 5 I will go with: 2019-05-26 - Legend Valley - Thornville, OH [1988-04-30] 2019-09-08 - Red Rocks Amphitheatre - Morrison, CO [1983-09-08] 2019-12-31 - Wellmont Theater - Montclair, NJ [elective (3 sets)] It was a very good year. Saw Grateful Shred for the first time last night. I was really impressed. Amazing vocals/harmonizing. And they somehow stay true to the music while also having cultivated a total uniqueness... I think they should/could more/better utilize/accentuate the 3 guitar thing in pursuit of a really beautiful thing they have that no one else really does. They're worth checking out for sure.

Actually considering trying to stay that whole week in CO and catch him at Red Rocks after DSO too...
