As a local businessman (Joe the Barber) in Wilmington, De., my father would meet with Joe Biden on occasion, to give him a pulse on the local community. This happened more so in the beginning of his career as a Senator. My sister knocked door to door for his first campaign. I have heard him speak about the importance of family to the point that his entire body was shaking when I was just a boy. What you see is what you get with Joe Biden. How he speaks today is his core. It always has been. While I honestly believe that he is more frail than strong, I hope that he can lead us out of this hell that we find ourselves in. Let the youth take us forward once we get to stable ground.
I worry about Biden, he doesn't look very healthy to me. Like Greg says, we need younger people running this country. McConnell, Pelosi, Schumer etc. all need to retire. They are too old and set in their ways and refuse to work together for the common good. We need leaders in their 40's and 50's, old enough to have some life experience and young enough to be willing to change and adapt

Rude Send it overrrrrr. Bill asked benetti (the other announcer) if he’s ever been in a sonic boom and of course the guy said no. Then he asked if he’s ever been in a flesh eating beam of light. Classic
I was watching this while on the treadmill at the gym. It's difficult to do when laughing

Shes like this is the last hurrah before popping out a baby 4 days later. I’m like you are freaking insane but I also have to love that I made her one of the most hardcore new heads out there. Of course I’m not doing it but she’s brought it up twice. She’s at the point where I have to help her get out of the car and help her turn over in bed and she wants us to do a 6 hour drive to see an average dead band and dance for 4 hours. She’s also mad that panic is too big to do any shows anytime soon. I think St Augustine every summer for panic will be on our rotation now b/c she digs the harder jams and Panic is a hard party to beat. Lawn with me changing diapers as she roams will be the likely scenario. I just wanted to get her to like doing some runs or maybe a tour here and there. Note she didn’t do jubilee 2015 b/c she said camping is gross. Now she wants 50 shows a year and really wants camping fests lol. Her tour mentality is on par with mango and Mc from years past. Do them all lol. I would have thrown chuck into that analogy but she’s more on the young side of it vs Chuck with the gold plated winnebagos, penthouses at circus circus and deluxe rooms at the Howard Johnson. Well back to Netflix.....
Time to focus on the labor Playlist. My wife was in labor for 28 hours with our first, so make sure you're prepared in case. Good luck and congratulations

As a parent of kids between 18 and 24, I can safely say that they are not in the least bit worried about Covid.

Second to last song first set between lazy lightning and MNS. Definitely mid to late first set

My mother had it but has now tested negative. She's in her eighties and lives in a care facility with alzheimers. I'm very relieved. Things are really spiking now. I really hope that things don't need to get shut down, that would be a disaster for the economy and put a lot of people in a very difficult spot.

Wild Horses
Love the old and in the way version.
How about Sultans of swing? Lots of room for Jerry on guitar in that one.

Think for yourselves, don't let media tell you what to think. Most people in this country are good people who want the best for everyone. Don't let the fringe elements drive the narrative.

People purchase a table that had 4 seats and has lines around it. When you walk away to go to the bathroom or get a drink, mask up. They checked temps going in. Not to be missed as the band played through the riverfront live huge pa system, it was crystal and loud, a good clear loud. The interplay between lead guitar, Charlie, and keyboard was intriguing, they followed each other, then joined, then off on their own. At times it was so nicely meshed I couldn't tell if it was guitar or keys, then they separated.
They play inside? Can't imagine tables outside

I tell you what, the weather this past weekend for the Hyryder show on the river was unbelievable, the wind breezing in and the cloud formations made for a truly hallucinatory sunset. I am soooooo into the upcoming indy show this Saturday. Hyryder has some magic they're weaving, ended the first set with I need a miracle end of song blues jam going into a down and dirty wang dang doodle. They opened quite a few portals throughout the night. Two big delicious sets and couldn't have been a nicer crowd. Black Peter in the middle of the first set said it all..."go run and see, run, run and seeeeee..."
THANK YOU FOR THE INTRODUCTION/ INDOCTRINATION !!!!!⚡⚡
Damn, can't believe I missed it. Will be there if they come back. How are they keeping people spread out if at all? Did you have to wear masks? I know there's a lot of room there but 500 is a pretty good crowd

I barely tolerated the turd previously, but only the very ill informed or ones whod follow him even if he shot someone on 5th Avenue would think he handled this pandemic well. He’s the head of the anti maskers ffs. People have been shot and attacked for refusing to wear masks and called it a liberal conspiracy. Promoting Qanon and already calling the election fraudulent is destroying the fabric of the country. And yes his refusal to take the pandemic seriously is why we are still fully in it as other countries are recovering. The steady stream of lies, dog whistles and threats of civil war if he doesn’t win is just too much. I hate narcissistic people as it is and this turd is the worst of the worst, but if you don’t understand economics and believe all manufacturing will return to America and immigration is bad then hes your guy. There’s good white supremacists too right. His fear mongering has already led to violence. Worried about the future with new congressmen who will win who back QAnon who’s main philosophy is that Hillary anc other Dems sell children as sex slaves. These are the dumbest our country has to offer that follow Q. 5g gives you Covid.
Sorry but I won’t stay silent anymore!
I won’t be complicit.
I understand many are afraid to speak up. It’s ok. But I will speak up.
Time for a nice glass of bourbon and a good night's sleep. You're sounding like Ren in "Space Madness"

8/6/71? Yes please! Top Tenner on every list - no matter the day. Legendary recording from an apparent Noob. What?

Hard to Handle tops 4/29/71. It actually toys with it before killing it. Sorry Chris
great, great, great Cumby. BUT
Truckin > Drums > Other One > MAMU > Other One is one of the best segments the GD ever played . I’m 98% partial to all-time Jerry tune segments but this is some of the best stuff there is. Zero hyperbole
You are correct, 8-6-71 is the best HTH and the Truckin through other one segment is awesome stuff. I use this show a lot to Kickstart my day first thing in the morning. The recording certainly enhances the greatness. The new years 69 HTH isn't bad either for a non 71 version. Maybe there should be a poll, can we still do poll questions on here?

imagine we're all in a parking lot right now years and years ago waiting to get into the post or maybe we're in a lot up in Maine waiting to get into the speedway, nothing but miles and miles of intrigue coming up, speculations being drawn up, beers going down, grill cheese and crystals in each row of cars, someone yells at their dog Cassidy, looking for a last copy of duprees, but when they come out on stage reality hits imagination and swirls everyone up and away until it's dark and you're back in the lot again, having a well deserved brew and looking for your car for the next two hours
Really bringing back the memories, quite a few mid eighties shows played at 7 am this week and last. Thanks Matt

Has Dave ever been spotted at one of the DSO shows in Springfield? That's real close to Yellow Springs where he's from. I know he was at Dead &Co at Riverbend in Cincy in the last couple years. Pretty sure I've been to pretty much every Springfield show over the years but haven't seen him, could have been hanging back

Americans won’t accept the type of shutdown to make stop the spreading. It’s spreads one to one. One to many. It’s doesn’t take many to spread to one. I went to Chuck E. Cheese today for toph 7th bday. They closed early for no announced reason. Hope it wasn’t the virus but there was certainly 50 people there. A group of 50 can be just as dangerous as a group 1000 if one person has it. It passes one to one.
i don’t know what the answer is. If I was sick or considered myself elderly, I definitely would be into self quarantine but coronavirus won’t kill me. I do worry about it in my household for sure. It would kill my mom. It might kill my baby girl. This shit is scary. We need to rush a vaccine to market some how but from what I’ve read 12 months is the minimum for it to be ready for market.
I just worry the type or societal shut down to truly curb the spread of the virus would require things Americans just won’t swallow. I tend to side on the let’s go on with life as normal with a few extra precautions. Easy access to testing. If you are sick, please stay the fuck home and away from others. I’ve been washing my hands and using hand sanitizer much more regularly. Making my kids wash their hands much more regularly.
I hope with summer festival season coming up we can find a solution to help these events go forward. Maybe on site testing. I’ve read about mobile testing sites. Ones were you test the people in their car. It sounds shitty by the way to be confined to the car waiting results but it takes 4 hours to get into Bonnaroo anyway. Any car with someone testing positive. Yes that has to eliminate the whole car is not allowed to enter. Those virus free can still go. I have to admit I know my desire for the show to go on is selfish.
If you're not afraid to eat at Chuck E Cheese, coronavirus certainly isn't going to scare you

ticket prices will most likely prevent attendance at this event. Phish just announced 3 day weekend at Deercreek with $45.00 tickets. Hopefully DSO will play Annie's again this year. I need a show. BCE is playing Stanley's in March, hopefully Lee will be with them.
What's the date on that Stanley's BCE gig?
