  1. Aaron is still on my brain. If he saw this, he would weave a conspiratorial tapestry of how embedded Russian operatives have infiltrated the highest levels of government hell bent on world domination and that we all better quickly learn the Russian language. He would also say that he would prefer Putin as his king and that DSO is a shadow puppet for the illuminati. God damn how I miss that man. All the colors I see are drab and merely shades of grey - that's part of what profound sadness looks like through my eyes

    Rude

Rarely am I at a loss for words - takes everything I have to share much of anything right now. Words of remembrance simply don’t justice to who he was as a friend, a companion, and a vibrant spirit. From the night he stumbled into our campsite, and all the years that followed, he lived life with the throttle down. Piercing eyes with a piercing intellect to match. The joy that DSO brought him was undeniable, unchained, and unbound. He stoked those fires in us and it commanded our full attention. DSO would announce a tour and he planned the full itinerary in about 3 minutes. Where we would be staying, where we could eat, who we could meet up with, what sporting events would coincide with our travels, venue dancing pros/cons, and what recreations might be in the offing. Literally 3 minutes flat. Oh buddy - you were way too loved for it to end here. There were so many worldly tribulations still left unspoken and still unsolved and we tackled so many of them together. Quick with an insult immediately chased with a quick smile. Too smart for your own good methinks. A part of all of us left shattered with little desire to sweep up the pieces because it’s all we have left. Rest easy, Rude - and Rude you were. You thought it, and then you said it - consequences be damned. It’s who you were - beautifully unapologetic. You leave us gutted, searching for meaning in something that will never make sense. Salt of the earth gang - signing off until we meet again some day

  9. I understand being a prisoner of the moment . I also understand recency bias. BUT that Throwing Stones was one for the ages! I got so enthralled by it that I forgot what song they were playing. What was so cool about it was how deliberate they were performing it. It was an amazing contrast. Not missing a single note (and the notes they didn’t play) and then it devolved into this chaotic shredfest, before morphing into a decidedly different song. They played around with this dark theme for a bit - it snaked around and then slammed back all together with one glorious bass-ripping note. So fucking cool 😎 Swiss watch kinda stuff. Smiles for Miles ❤️

Dancin vibes for sure! After the Shakedown Sandie with that spacey Low Spark filling to close set 1, a funky Dancin sounded like it was in the cards

  24. The wait is finally over! Never an instance where I setup camp in a better mood than at Jubilee - let's hope everyone gets their Jubilee residence just exactly perfect. Speaking of perfect: That Weather Report? SUITE! A brisk Friday and chilly overnights but you gotta take that weather forecast all day long. No downpours, no humidity, no getting cooked outta your tent. Late nights sets will be cold, but I'm guessing heads all empty and you won't care Friday - Partly Cloudy, Breezy H: 63 L: 44 Saturday - Partly Sunny H: 70 L: 42 Sunday - Partly Sunny H: 70 L: 46 Will be watching and listening on Nugs. It sure ain't Jubilee but I'll get my DSO jolt next weekend! Have a magical Jubilee everyone ❤️
