So Many Roads Tour

the Furthur Festival will return to the road this summer under the new moniker So Many Roads. The lineup features ex-Grateful Dead principal Bob Weir's longtime side band Ratdog, Rusted Root, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, and bluegrass artist Keller Williams. Weir, fellow Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart and Phil Lesh, and keyboardist Bruce Hornsby toured Furthur as a band in 1998.

Ratdog will also play seven dates July 9-22 with Lesh & Friends in what will be the first pairing of the two former Dead members' bands.

Here are the So Many Roads tour dates:

July 22: Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (Saratoga PAC / Ratdog, Lesh & Friends only)

Aug. 10: Scranton, Pa. (Coors Light Amphitheater)

Aug. 11: Buffalo, N.Y. (Darien Lake Performing Arts Center)

Aug. 12: Burgettstown, Pa. (Post Gazette Pavilion)

Aug. 14: Baltimore (Pier Six Concert Pavilion)

Yeah this is from 2001. I did the 7/9/01 OK Zoo show where Bobby and Phil took the same stage for the first time in a few years after a squabble (in the middle of my first and sadly only coast-to-coast DSO tour). I couldn't figure out why I didn't do the Star Lake show but then I remembered: I was at the DSO Jam in Merrimac, WI :dsorocks:

Yep, repeat from 2001. I was at the shows in St. Louis 7/10/01 and Alpine Valley 7/14/01. The St. Louis show was a mind blower! Phil melted my face that night. One of the loudest concerts I've ever attended. They had the volume turned up high so Jerry could hear the show in heaven. One of the best Phil & Friends shows, ever.

I love it when the volume is loud!, that's how I remember shows from the 70-80's, they seemed to get quieter when digital came in to play in the 90's. this is a great show you linked here. Thanks
