  1. I would prefer that the band just played music and leave health discussions elsewhere. Call it political or not, it's a highly sensitive and polarized issue. If it's so important to their health then proof of test should be required (not vaccination, one could but asymptomatic and go to the show and spread it.). But seriously, is everyone in the band doing what they can to be healthy, boost their immune system? Or are they living their lives, vaccinated, but all the same otherwise. What we have is a health pandemic and it is much bigger than covid. Drinking alcohol during and after shows its certainly going to suppress immunity and increase chances of getting it. Are we going to mandate that? Just pushing the vaccine without changing the way we live is not going to fix this. I'm sorry for those who blindly believe and follow what they are told.... but in case you haven't noticed, the government and pharmaceutical cooperations dont have your back when it comes to health. Look at the FDA, USDA, health care, the pharmaceutical industry. If you take the mainstream route to understanding the body and health then you are lost. Look at the world- obesity everywhere and normalized, heart disease, diabetes, mass starvation/malnourishment, massive rise in autoimmune disorders. These things for the most part are caused by the way we live and are mostly VERY PREVENTABLE. Are we going to ban foods that directly lead to heart disease and diabetes? Are we going to stop destroying the environment that we depend on, are we going to suddenly realize that it's wrong that people are starving while literally 1/3 of the food we produce ends up in landfills (where it rots, not composts, and creates a significant source of greenhouse gasses) (not to mention the massive amount of land devoted to monocropped soy corn etx that aren't even for eating). Are we going to ban cigarretes when we plainly know their ill health effects? How about we ban smoking at outdoor shows? I didn't choose to inhale your cigarette and it doesn't matter if you aren't right near me. People don't give a fuck about other people or health yet they push this vaccine like its the messiah, all the while politicizing it and shaming others who question it. The Human race is lost and vaccinating everyone is not the panacea that its pushed as. That being said, the band can say whatever they want. Its their choice, i dont have to agree, and for the time being i will continue to dance.
  2. Nope. But i remember cds coming out. It was like, "wow you can skip tracks". Early sounds of a generation that will never be satisfied. And then the cds got scratched....
  3. Joel Joel, are you the Joel who saw me and Scotty play a couple times with the Pranksters in 2019?

Mmmyes very very good thank you come again
  5. "If only everyone would do what i think is right..." When has that ever worked in the history of humanity? Your problem, Rude, is that you are angry. Your entire life there have been horrible injustices that you've chosen to ignore bc they didn't directly affect you. You enjoy the benefits of white privilege, stolen through imperialism and slavery. The western empires continue to rape the world and its inhabitants. Stop for a second a realize that covid is a symptom of humanity's gross imbalance with nature. Your vision is short sighted, thinking that if we all get vaccinated that then our problems are solved. wrong. Wait for the next thing. And in this whole pandemic process we've gotten worse- more waste, more division, larger wealth gap. Get off your soap box and turn off your tv. Do something to make the world a better place.

  9. They kind of played Moonlight Mile out of space before NFA.... great show, great venue, good vibes, dso fam yay.
  10. Well... it went down last night. Grateful Dead dissolves boundaries. Staff was totally relaxed. Danced down front with lots of space. It was truly exalted to dance to some GD- Eyes of the World was like coming home. Unfortunately they didn't give themselves enough time to play the show and i feel many songs/transitions were rushed/forced + no encore. But.... good to be back!
  11. June 9th 1976 You know the one
  12. Love you Herdy. I tried to sing China Doll for you this morning, only to find that it's embarrassingly out of my vocal range. I hope you are at peace now. I always enjoyed dancing and laughing with you and I'm sad we wont do it again.
  13. Jesus Rude. You are neither informed nor intelligent enough to be blasting everyone with your opinion about this. And so many times in the past you've found it necessary to be so outspoken and judgemental. You have no right to tell anyone else what to do, you are not an authority. I love you, but, please shut the fuck up. And keep this shit off the forums.
  14. After over a year.... im stoked to be at this show!!!
  15. Woah now. I meant nothing of speaking against injustices.... just that your message got lost in the ramble 😉 ramble on!
  16. Rude, You'd be better suited to say less. Mango

Brent's last show.... listened last week. His last solo line sung was "I've got to go but my friends can stick around". Definitely not in agreement that he was saying goodbye but it sure is synchronistic...
  18. I held on strong for black mountain...i was wrong. I do hope to be at THE NEXT dso show, where/whenever that is.

...i recall a late night- mighty high 2011- hotel hysteria. With the Silent Knight we listened to SPAC 83, and we didn't get much sleep that night. Cool matrix of that show.
  20. I'll pay triple to dance in 1/3 capacity
  21. Humanity is going to hell in a bucket... cant we at least enjoy the fall?
  22. Im holding steady with my prediction: black mountain will happen and i will be there.
