Made it! Was interesting to see them do the slooooooow thing so much in one show- seemed like a cool way to stretch themselves in a different way.
the venue stinks, please go back to the Variety. I know locals that always go that didn't cause they know that venue is crap.
I definitely missed the show I wanted.....
BUT
they took a melody and I did some shit with it and it's a cool exchange. Jesse actually peeked up and told me that we had previously experienced a very sweet TLEO moment on our first tour together last spring..... cute, he remembered.
i did my courtesy dance in front of Jeff in gratitude and spin through the balcony thing cause forever young is like that. The whole hey now there you are thing always gets me and ohhhhhhh the water...... sigh.
i don't know- call it a simple twist of fate though they did it lovely, but I just haven't ever in my whole life done dope and this show seemed best suited for those that enjoy that kind of thing. I mean- they did the era justice, but missing the more psychedelic Friday weighed on me a bit. Wilmington. There's always Wilmington....
they did make me sob for most of Dixie. Heavy shit, dudes!
and damn they finally got my lil unicorn heart racing and rainbow-pattering with that forever don't let go jam- think that was some tasty shit, right there.
the sound was awful in most of the venue- more reason to not go back! And I def gat a whistler super happy lady in my ear when I came up front for cats- made me go back where I belonged for the cripple section w Jesse.
we had fun playing together in our car afterwards and it made up for the shitty lot (enforced not allowed!) and weather so all in all, I'm grateful and I love you all and kiss kiss dearies!
Im sorry you don’t get Jerry band, but these shows were butter and The venue was solid with plenty of room and good sound. We are getting the goods.

The 3rd set was different style than I’ve ever seen Dso play. Dino was sort of hidden but he was on a bongo/percussion kit with snare and cymbals and other small portable kit type percussion stuff. Strange bongo beat on half step which was cool. You don’t see Dso go away much from the style of the dead/Jerry but that walking blues was just epic with Lisa belting it and modifying it. I really like Dso showing their personal styles and creativity and you could really see that last night. I’ve seen lots of music since my last Dso show and they just remind me they are the best in the biz when I see them. I’ve seen some cool stuff since last saw them 4 months ago but this was just the shit. I danced with a fucking brick on my foot the last 2 hours of the show. Had no control over it. I tried to sit. Nope. That didn’t work. Just pump that fucker to lock my ankle in place and groove it out.
Lisa and Tanya had so much energy. You could tell Lisa loved having another female to dance with. They had lots of fun. Tanya bolted for set 3 to take care of business but their harmonies were so powerful. Lucky old sun and Mississippi Moon had such power to them.
We got taken to church. I love those late 80’s/90’s Jerry setlists and we got the goods.

Never heard Masters of War before so had to look it up. Here you go with a dead style(Dylan song if you didnt know like me)
-
No. I meant Hornsby and his adult contemporary of early 2000s, not dead. Look at this backwards. The confusion was why a 2000s adult contemplate star was with the dead in the 90s.

Rob, would you please consider blending Valley Road into a setlist down the road? Think you would sound solid on it.
Got valley road in Cleveland for the 1st time. The gf said what song is this? I’m like Bruce Hornsby song. She’s like who’s he. I played the Way it is in the car and it even confused her more wondering why he played with the dead. I’m like don’t u remember dead 50. The keyboards turned so low you couldn’t hear them. That was him lol. The purpose of the lesson was we all gotta make money and he found his. Gotta appeal to the masses at times to pay the bills.

Unless you want specific seats, buy from fan club. I’m like hey it’s only $6 more for up close ticket-$36 seats close vs $30 for GA but since u get GA with fan club and Ticketmaster has the assigned seats that $6 becomes $16 extra a ticket. $19 in fees per ticket from TM sending a pair of $36 to $110 but the $30 ga on Ticketmaster only become $35 +$5 fees for the pair on fan club. The worst thing is I’ll likely be in the GA the whole show :/. Should have just got fan club so the band gets a bigger chunk of the revenue.
-
Still can’t buy tix and no on sale date. I’ve spied the ones I want lol even though GA will prob me end spot
-
Hoping release dates soon. Hotels ain’t getting cheaper the more they are booked in Cali in the summer
-
I want the 1st row aisle behind pit which should have room to move close up for only $6 more than GA even though I’ll prob end up in ga anyway
-
I just tried. Go to the page and click buy to go to payment page and says none available
-
It’s not official yet. Prob why no tix for sale even though shows for sale.
-
I tried to buy. Shows map of available seats. But says none available. Weird that the front row is sold out before seats are on sale. FU ticketmaster. I tried all options and couldn’t buy.
It looks like there is usually an open pit but they put seats there on the seating chart. Seems like would make more sense not having the seats and being able to sell more pit standing tix.

Any masked men at the show? Vegas is notorious for that.

Everything is going to be ok~
Lol. Half the fun of touring is planning and thinking about the options. I need to pipe dream also for my mental health. I live in an escapist fantasy land which is the best place to live

This was my first time at the Warfield, and what an absolutely wonderful place.
Sound was exceptionally crystal clear.
And what an incredible pair of shows - Unforgettable.
Can't wait to go back :3
I love those theaters with perfect sound!! Dso has such great sound. Jrad was muddled. It was super loud but bounced around everywhere. Luckily Dso had Cotter on the board. Dso has the best sound by far of any dead group I’ve seen and that’s a huge plus. Cant wait for Birmingham outdoors. There’s no bounce back outdoors. And that’s a loud PA. Getting within 20 feet of that stage is playing with fire. Our king Solomon’s marbles didn’t record Jeff’s guitar because it overloaded the iPhone mic that badly. That’s how loud the bass was. Yes I’m already dreaming of ourdoor shows. It’s 65 and sunny today. Winter has officially been broken. It lost its spirit to keep fighting. It tried to break me New Years in Indy with below zero temps for 2 straight days. But spring has taken hold. I plan several long road trips to help accelerate global warming to kill winter once and for all!!!! Damn u winter even if you kill mosquitos and fleas. Without winter, depression could be wiped off the map!! Everyone try to drive an extra 5 miles a day accelerating wildly and if we work together we can warm the world. Fix up a car from the 60’s that gets really bad gas mileage and drive it everywhere. Turn your lights on and leave em on. We can save Canada if we work together!!! Think of all the jobs that will be created for people having to make sea walls and water pumps. And gr8fulpairs house can become a beach house instead of a lake house!! It’s a win win win win.

Sorry I’m mistaken. Alaska May be winter tour 2020. Perfect time to do Alaska.

I’m looking at this amazing suite at Humphrey’s. 4 beds with a private large balcony overlooking the marina. 1000 sq ft can go 10 deep easy. Someone book it and I’ll go in $100 on a bed.

The shows and venue were perfect. There was more room with space tgan 90% of the venues I go to. Why does the area of town matter? You drive to venue get out and go in. Would you rather hang outside the electric factory? Seems like personal issues are getting infused into show analysis.
They were brilliant. Bravo guys. My fav 3 show run I’ve ever seen hands down.
