  1. Play truckin! Play truckin! What you got to be a cop about it? What if we don’t wanna play Truckin? We’ll play whatever we like.....
  2. Anyone seen Ghostlight? Tommy Hamilton’s band with Holly Bowling on keys.
  3. She played Jubilee this year. Amazing
  4. Proud of that deep southern Georgia brew, huh, Chuck?
  5. Great idea, Greg!
  6. I am taking your likes as approval and proceeding to make different color felt collars with bells on the points and decorated around the edge with ric-rac. Current mood: magenta
  7. Am I seeing things, or is the resemblance uncanny?
  8. +1 Marcus King
  9. Romantic Balladier. Does that make your stomach turn? Maybe no. This wasn’t Easy Cheese. I had good fun on Friday. Firstly, the Knight Tbeater also known as the Belk Theater is acoustically outstanding and a great 2,000 capacity theater designed in mid century style in downtown Charlotte, My video sound is crisp and has depth. I went along trusting my friend’s good judgement to see Chris Isaak. Now I am familiar with “Wicked Game ” but believe it or not, never seen that sultry video filmed on Kawai and knew that his music associated with David Lynch. So I have to say that , man that guy can croon, has a funny sense of humor, and commands a falsetto that would turn a cannoli inside out. He covered Elvis, Roy Orbison and .Phil Phillips. FYI The musicians were just ok. And..... people got up to dance. So weird...
  10. 9/2/78 FOTD gives him a $15 bill and vanishes in the air. LLR builds to a thunderhead. First set Miracle is a rocker, Bobby falsetto at end is sexy. Lazy Lighting- >Supplication. Good Lovin rap. Inventiveness in Scarlet jam. Jerry shreds in Eyes.
  11. Wow. Have you ever tried growing quinoa? Just curious. I heard it is very drought tolerant. Quinoa could one day help solve the world hunger problem. Read an article about San Fran company that looks at weather trends and predicts with amazing accuracy the best time to plant. The guy used to be a stock broker and used same modalities to help farmers. . Familiar with milpa? The three sisters? Corn beans squash. Symbiotic plants. There are tracks of land in Mexico that have been repetitively farmed for 4,000 years without depletion of the soil. Captain Jim’s Dead bug did the trick for my tomatoes. Very cool as it is made from a bacteria found only in some abandoned Caribbean warehouse. Weird science, for sure. I had these cute little orange nymphs on my zinnias that jumped to lunch on my tomatoes. I captured and drowned them in soapy water. Catching the mature Stinkbugs was a trick though. The compost we used yielded great results- 6 1/2 ft tall tomato plants!!! A company picks up our food scraps and we can request at no charge compost whenever for $22/ mth. I know now that is nothing compared to what you do - just my journey.
  12. Organic gardening is intensive and a labor of love. Just count on losing 2 out of 10 veggies.
  13. And all your reasoning behind this name would be appreciated..... well maybe not..... yuck, Rude
  14. I have big plans for 2/22/2019, wherever I may be.
  15. As my friend and lady who helps me out says, “Aretha could hoop!”. I think she’d say the same of Lisa. 😉
  16. I found out the sounds of Aretha singing comingled with space was a spiritual from MLK’s funeral. The faintest sounds of her voice got louder and louder and it seemed like her spirit had been called in a seance. And then space morphed into Dear Mr Fantasy.... it was powerful!
  17. There is nothing quite like being surrounded by so many dear, loving hearts. You make my life a beautiful garden. I am taking today as a day to enjoy the glorious view and perspective, breathe it in and solidify it as we start a new season, marked by man, not by nature. Peace and and great love, PG
  18. And the elders ask, when did you stop dancing? As a person? As a people? That is why you are sad. No time to hate.... poor souls. Why care about cool? That is one measuring stick I fail to meet. And the invitations? Watch out for vampires. They just want your joy, but for what cost? . Not a soul union- a meeting of souls- intermingling of kundalini- the essence of you and that one swirled together. To touch and feel the light of a thousand sunshines condensed into that wonderful being of you made more of interatomical space than not. I recommend getting a vintage car with manual locks and see if the lucky gal unlocks for you on your side after you let her in. Like a vintage MG. 🎼”Let me roll it to you... like a wheel....” Wish you had been at Blk Mtn! Good vibes bursting into dance always welcome. There are never too many stars in the heavens.
  19. A stranger filled my water bottle for me - took it without me knowing, filled and returned. hey you know how in Bertha after the line “ throw me in the jailhouse” there is that strong chord - well it was done twice. Ha! We were having that much fun. I always want to count how many anymore’s there will be but haven’t put the idea into action. Seems like a fun trivia nerd thing to do.
  20. Thanks - in body of recollection missing from set list as I edited Nothing but flowers
  21. Well well well. A night that begins with HSF is full of promise and tonight was not a disappointment. The bass was rumbling and all the heart cylinders pumping. The band went ahead and slid on into a SLINKY Red Rooster like an alligator sliding down the river embankment. Slide guitar had just that twang and groove - and Barraco finish it up with the Brent response. Sweet broken arrow... shot and miss ...such humanity and plainly frank. A nice cool breeze in the set. Cumberland kicked it and the ride began. Passenger let me release my inner tap dancer with a great piano solo, and Expressway rocked in out. I could’ve been happy there. Then a cowboy twofer kept the crowd hopping. But we are in song deep and ending with cowboy songs a weird option. Rubin and Cerise was a dream closer. Loveliness. I almost don’t know how to express my joy sometimes but it comes through in the dance. I love my tribe. :)) You make me so very happy. I’m so glad you came into my life. Fun second course! And I am so glad Alligator came out to play!! He was in solitary last night under the plastic on stage. Nobody took him home Friday to cuddle and he was out on the town tonight! Viola was funky as hell and got super fast just like we like it and ended in a completely new and original way, ha!!. And.... guys Baby Blue... 💕♥️⚡️💙 Thanks band! Always a treat. Thanks crew! ....What about Kenny? This ain’t a South Park episode. I saw his cute lady. Hear all is better. Thanks for finishing up tour here- 💯🤙🏼.
  22. Jack Straw-> Day Job. That Alligator ending was far out. 😜
  23. I didn’t know sunny slept. 😜 I thought it was a rhetorical question.
  24. Some people have special powers, ; some have talents. Others have gifs
  25. How can you lose with a royal flush. I realized how much fun the sets ending with Bertha~> Good loving are. nice big drums in Crazy Fingers/ Playing after a very sweetly sang beginning. Epic ness Inc terrapin. Arethra Franklin voice, singing, coming out of space. Glory hands and Sister act in the eves. Dear Mr Fantasy. The love light was outstanding great dance space,. And another Easy Wind encore in black mountain Thanks Rob88- it is a fav. 😍
