The dreaded “where is my ticket?”. I learned a new acronym. O.H.I.O.: only handle it once.

I recall we had storms in the forecast last year and it drizzled a smidge. That’s it. Rain seems to always be in the forecast with afternoon thundershowers this time of year. It can be torrential rain in one spot and dry as a bone just 200 ft away. 🤪

Sounds like a powerful case for why you want to give more... .35 min.....! !

And 💕 Moonlight Mile- give it a listen from Birmingham show. Oh it is sweetly yearning. So good.

Sometimes birdsong can be deconstructed- like a Playin— maybe even edgy—- I’d think it would have to approach that at some point to work going into Watchtower and then after the hard driving Watchtower like a breath of fresh air- a release of sorts,

Birdsong-> Watchtower->Birdsong turned my head . How bout yours?

See the internet was wrong. Had I been at home with my DB it would have been a different story! Ask a good reference, or a professional or a forum board for information.

How fun is that Mission in the Rain? Did it trip anyone up into thinking elective? Only other time played by GD was 6/18/76. Right? DB50 owners? .....Bueller? Bueller?

That “ Around and Around” went triple A, took off like a jet plaine, from a stream I saw. And then straight into JBG without pause.

I know, right ??? My gf recounted last night while on tour her night severely went terrible on Victim. Everyone’s demeanor changed and lurkers emerged. And then the song careening into Drums Space was no relief. To run to the bathroom would have been a safer place for rizzle,

Haha. Gosh- i left that show early... I hope it was just a good dream gone bad. Lost Sailor -> Victim was like having chocolate milk with creamed spinach. I think I was sleeping too hot.,.

I was having a fantastic dream last night but when the dream took a turn, I awoke abruptly. So in my dream, I was hanging with some friends on the front row just behind the “orchestra” seats. Sweet spot right ? We had all the space to hang and dance. The show opens with Bertha -> Don’t Ease Me in, Everybody’s dancing and having a blast. The music is sounding good. They start playing Lost Sailor and with all this room, I was loving the space to twirl and spin and pas deuce beurre. But then the band went into Victim or the Crime. That is when I stopped dreaming and abruptly awoke. I guess that scared me. 😂

I loved 7/18/89 Alpine the best of the three nights. My first China Doll had me in the dreamiest state hanging out under a clump of trees over on Phil’s side and loving the music. I stayed there until the monster Dear Mr Fantasy Hey Jude. Maybe my favorite song block ever at a show.

David Ball and Walter Hyatt of “Uncle Walt’s Band” were both from Spartanburg, SC. Lyle Lovett used to open for them. Lovett styled his hair after Walt’s doo and said sometimes when he played there was only one person in the audience, Walter Hyatt. There is today’s little ditty for ya.

it was a 📦 of love and happiness- like a 🎁 . I just ❤️ cutting loose with everyone and getting the funk out , shining out and drifting on the dream, listening to the sound. And the calls of 🐺 . :)) I spun, and was swirled high, like a soft serve🍦 by the end of Wharf 🐀 and that felt good. Lots of energy flowing - the 💨 cooling us off- the ⛰ giving shelter as the 🌞 dropped low - the 💨 lifted and whipped the set list 📖 off a stand during Bertha- as if -“you don’t need this set list, right?? Ha! Wowzah. The 🐦s that cruised in and out the arena. How epic to see this show after following the GD road to Red Rocks through the box set this past year!! 🙏🏻 Truly both shows - GD and DSO- 💎 . 🌧 to the south, Southeast gave us a glimmer of a rainbow 🌈 over the right side of the amphitheater. Deal ♦️ ♠️ ♥️ couldn’t help but think when Jerry says been here abouts ten solid good years what 1968 called up in the band’s mind and it called up for me how my journey has unfolded the past decade- 2008-2018. I am so grateful to have been here with my family, see my loved ones and see and meet 😃 yours. I love you all more than words can tell and they fail me. I am so amazed I have such a 🌟 night at a most incredible place. Many things have revealed themselves to me and going to search them out and anchor them into my life. Peace and love always....

I heard a 4/29/71 recording of New Minglewood Blues. It was a fast versio . When did the pace change to the modern version? (I kinda like the old fast style the best.... )

Well , that is suspenseful! Oh Berkeley with your eucalyptus trees effervescently cool. And some incredible pizza to be had up there on Telegraph Avenue. There's mystery and possibility in SF ... uncanny, thought of Comes a Time yesterday. There was two years where that song spoke my truth and my inspiration. And in the end all it matters are the dreams you believe. Plain and simple. Fun - looking first set- primed, marinated and all set to cook at the end. How great to to meet those two, John! Lucky you to hang with Rude and China Cat, too Last night I had a serious foodie experience in town. Best balanced plates of flavors since Durango’s Eolus Bar and Grill and Tante in Chicago. Exquisite, sleek Mid Century feel to the whole place. Octopus paired with a Pisco cocktail Calle “Dizzy with a Dame” was just the beginning! Tonight, the DSO flavor experience continues to amaze and mesmerize I am sure!! Have fun-
