Forum MVP Teacher Matt Posted April 22, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 22, 2010 In Bill Walton' case... you try dragging Jabbar and Lanier and other centers up and down the court for 48 minutes and stand 6'10 .... you would have back knees and back as well... Walton was using "Air Cal" back in the early 70s to go see Dead shows when in high school in San Diego and while he played for UCLA... he would fly to a show that night and make it back for class and practice the next day... he has told stories about sneeking out of his house.. catching a flight to San Fran .. hitting the show and fly back.. and what is cool is that Coach John Wooden did not mind.... I would think because Walton had them winning 88 games in a row and 3 National Titles in his 3 years... you were not allowed to play as a freshman back in those days... and you were not allowed to dunk either...how bout them apples... I bet some did not know that... SO... long story short... he can stand or sit where he wants.... Hey... did somebody mention........ SEX !! ... awesome ..
