Forum MVP Mango Posted May 7, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 7, 2011 Dear Prudence, monster. Viola Lee>Comes a Time>Shakedown. I'm blanking on the rest... ...Cats Under the Stars encore.... Someone else(Brian) can fill in the rest Fun show. For some reason our dancing section seemed to be the #1 spot for people to stop and have full on conversations, or, as in one or two cases, just grope each other right in the middle of people spinning and dancing frantically. Oy Vey.... .

Forum MVP August West Posted May 8, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 ,videoed the whole show Well Ernst.....its an obsession but I'm sure its pleasin'! I know that with all these videos that you and Gary are getting out there to the masses......it can't help but bring more fans to DSO. The naysayers may click on a Youtube link and say...." Wow these guys are really tight, I've got to check them out." Next thing you know they're at a show. DSO for many years has grown its fanbase primarily from word of mouth. These videos offer a wider, broader, spectrum, that can reach many more people. I know its hard work and takes alot of time......it is very much appreciated. Just like George Jetson said to his wife in one of the episodes...."Jane!!!! Stop this crazy thing!!! As long as the music keeps arriving from outer space..... so will more visitors. The sky is no longer the limit!! Imagine the possibilities. Damn I meant to review the show.......oh yeah....it was fanfuckingtastic..
Forum MVP VincentPuleo Posted May 8, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 8, 2011 I, for one, watched steve's videos--which are of incredible quality--many times and shared them with many friends. The work is great appreciated will no doubt, as you said August West, have a positive affect on the band. Nice Jetsons quote too...

Forum MVP Evangeline Posted May 13, 2011 Forum MVP Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 What would we do without people like you, nwnjsteve?? And grayhead too, among others who make the effort to record at shows. It is so gratifying to be able to watch videos of songs from a show you just saw recently. I remember how cool it was to run back to the hotel after a Dead show and have the luxury sometimes of listening to the cassette tape of the show I just saw! It was so damn cool! But what would I have thought if I could have looked into the future and seen youtube??!! Thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to record at shows. I appreciate it so much! I record once in a while, and it takes a lot of concentration and love to do it right, so I want you folks to know how much I thank you for doing it for me.
