Predictions:

AL:

Central: Tigers

East: Boston

West: Texas

Wild: Oakland, Tampa Bay

NL:

Central: Pittsburgh

East: Atlanta

West: Arizona

Wild: St. Louis, Cincinnati

WS: Tigers v Atlanta; Tigers in six.

Look at cm_hayden Pick!  All of these look pretty solid - although AZ is 5 games out of the WC.  My guess?  All of these teams except for AZ (Dodgers instead) will be in the post-season.  Quit your day job buddy - Let's go make some money!  I'll be your....errrr......your.....agent...yeah, your agent :)

Looks like anyway you slice it, the reps from the senior circuit in the payoffs will be:

Braves, Dodgers, Cardinals, Pirates, Reds (I agree > nobody wants that 1-game playoff)

The American League is wide freaking open:

Boston is the closest team to a lock as a dvision winner.  I'd say the Tigers are too although Cleveland is still on life-support and very much in the thick of it for the WC.  You also have:

Rays, Orioles, Stankees, Oakland, Rangers, Royals* (* on life support)

The American league is going to come down to the final day....

Watch out for Cleveland, they have a ridiculously easy schedule down the stretch.

I'm down with the Pirates.  They were my pick against the Reds but I didn't want to jinx it as I so often do.  It's wierd not to have a superstitious bone in my body for anything except sports.

Buccos got boat-raced last night only to lay the beat-down on the Cards this afternoon.

With this bein the best of 5, game #3 should be a sight to see!

Hate to root against such a classy organization as the A's but:

Forgot to mention the Tiger's starting quartet: Doug Fister (ERA 3.67), Anibal Sanchez (ERA 2.57), Max Scherzer (ERA 2.90), and Justin Verlander (ERA 3.46). Let's not forget closer Joaquin Benoit, who has 24 saves.

Predictions:

Red Sox in 5.

Tigers in 4.
