Great Southern was his main band outside of Allman Brothers. So sad, really one of the most enjoyable guitarists of our times and he cont'd to play shows regularly throughout the years on his own.

The only time I saw them play with Dickey was at the palace theater in Louisville in 1993/94. I remember Derek trucks coming on stage to play a couple songs and think he was only 15 or 16 at the time.
