25/06/03 Dance Lab Set One 81/05/01 Hampton Coliseum, Hampton, VA Alabama Getaway>Promised Land, Friend of the Devil, Me and My Uncle>Big River, Althea, Little Red Rooster, Tennessee Jed>Let It Grow>Deal. Set Two 69/02/27 Fillmore West, San Francisco, CA Dupree's Diamond Blues>Mountain of the Moon> Dark Star>St. Stephen>The Eleven>Lovelight. Cosmic Charlie Set Three 94/10/03 Boston Garden, Boston, MA Space>The Wheel>All Along the Watchtower> Attics of My Life>Round and Round. E: Brokedown Palace. Impromptu dance party to celebrate the arrival of the Enjoying the Ride boxset explores the spectrum of the human condition. Hampton jumpy and energetic after ironing out some early mix issues, momentum built nicely from an outstanding TJ to the close of the first. Fillmore West material otherwordly. The Dark Star and St. Stephen made the cut for Live Dead. Complete chaos and order, full and empty, distant and intimate all at once. A truly mindblowing sequence. Do not sleep on Boston Garden run in late 1994. Amazing high tech space leads to an inspired run home by the band, including a late turn to Attics from Stella by Jerry, and a lovely closing jam on the Round and Round. Fillmore set wrapped by two sets from the EJR boxset. Music dropped at 4:50P, leaving plenty of time for post show activities. Big Fun. Praise DSO.

❤️❤️❤️ Look at that, me too. Funny I have been on Steve Hoffman Forum thread regarding the upcoming Enjoying the Ride Box and have actually signed up, liking a few posts along the way. At the beginning, negative nellys roamed the thread about skewing later years. Fortunate ones have received their box and began listening now posts are hailing the "Estimated from RR79" or "MNS from 5/13/78". I find joy in all forms of Jerry. Today maybe mine box will arrive. Anticipation needle is pegged. Praise DSO.

The place to be is on the fenceline left of the entrance. Friends took over a whole corner there back in the day. Get there early and set up a couple EZ ups to further claim real estate. Relatively level and grassy. Throughly enjoyable experience. Use care leaving on Monday as state police are watching. Praise DSO.

Recent pictures have my anticipation up. Can not wait to dig in. Praise DSO.

85/04/08 The Spectrum Philadelphia, PA Midnight Hour>Walkin' the Dog>Big Boss Man, Me and My Uncle>Cumberland Blues, Down in the Bottom>Ain't Superstitious, Althea, Tons of Steel, Supplication Jam>Might As Well. Revolution, Hell In A Bucket, Touch of Grey, Estimated Prophet>Eyes of the World>Drums> Goin' Down the Road>Stella Blue>Round and Round>Lovelight. E: Brokedown Palace. The opening triad gets me everytime. Prime example of silly good lists of 85. Sure AC will mention the Riverfront show from 1989, he had a fabulous show, while I was outside in the parking lot. Praise DSO.

Last Wednesday saw JGB at the Hamilton in DC. Spent the first few songs super close to Melvin on the keyboard side, watching him spin the gospel, great stuff. Moved back for space of various size and location the rest of the evening. JK in fine form, such a natural pairing with Melvin. Cats, Goin' Down the Road first set standouts. Scarlet>Reuben a bouncy fun jump to the second. Perfect midweek escape. 25/03/26 JGB, Hamilton, Washington DC Second That Emotion, Wonderful World (Cooke), Evangeline, Mississippi Moon, Quinn the Eskimo, Cats Down Under the Stars>Drums>Goin' Down the Road, Let Me Roll It. Scarlet Begonias>Reuben and Cherise, Money Honey, Swing Low Sweet Chariot, No Women No Cry, Waiting for a Miracle, Midnight Moonlight, Sisters and Brothers, I Was Made To Love Her (Jam). Praise DSO.
