GoingBackTo Where....

From VA...but in raliegh....and got the goods. I already miss what I got. It's getting harder to do these shows, then leave. Like driving to heaven for day, and then knowingly driving back to hell . I know why people go on tour, but escpecially back. Selling grilled cheese, just scraping by was so much better with the music and the friends than it is back home. If home is where your heart is, than the heart traveled venur tonthr next. Miracled out a tour head last night. She was happy,and that happiness spawns more happiness. Thanks for a fun night DSO. I definitely got my fill of the dance, and raliegh I'd a good place for that. Good people, large venue. Upstairs is sectioned off vip:(. Or it would of been plenty of run around with your dsncr hanging out, but the Carolina contingent along with The Paducah boot made for good space with some other kind boys and girls!! Thanks DSO. Happiness is far and few these days, but you guys and gal bring the smiles from ear to ear!! Love you all. I miss it as soon as it was done.

Last comment.....I have much respect for all y'all on the bus. Many before me, and many will be after me. However, I have always given respect to those who put their efforts in. Who have kept the flame lit while others gave up, others moved on, and others like.me who just did not know. Thanks to many of you all who started this over a decade ago. Several decades.....your efforts are not forgotten here. Your stories always a gift, and your continued presence a signal that we are built to last. With out live in the dream it will never come true. Well all love...and the dream is real because of it!!

What a fun night. Band sounds amazing. Got more Lisa than expected. She sound awesome. ,A 76 jgb show. Short, ended by 11 they did not start till near 830. The music was top notch jgb. Everyone played their part. It was such a joy to hear. Y'all tour heads are in for a treat. My sorrow goes out to Eaton's family. I wish the best and the best possible outcome. God bless yall, and it will be ok!! Faith in yourself!! Second that emotion They love each other Melody, I'll take Easier to tell the show. Aug 22nd 1976 The fillers. To.thumb!!! Skip sounded remarkably clear. It seemed odd how clear, but for me...that's a good thing. Just more clear then I have ever heard him Lisa told some women that they were not women enough....I love her vocals. She blew those pipes tonight. Such a bueaty in all her asthetics , voice inclusive. Took that women right into eyes. A beautiful eyes. Rob and skip made up for any missing rythm guitar. It was odd..I can't describe it, but with out Eaton, its like everyone else elevated their game, and filled in the gaps so we'll.thst they all shined that much brighter. Got a Mr Charlie And going down the road....fucking nailed it too notch. Jeff's voice is getting g so good. He has matured so well over these years. The melody was beautiful.. The band is playing their best. They made tonight mind blowing...as what I expect from DSO. Each member got more ability to express themselves with out that rythme. They made the rythm. It was, should I say, they all shined their own talents a little more losely with out Eaton. It was like they were frreed from that other lead guitar restraints, and made up for it. I heard Eaton but through Rob and skip. DSO opened their tour top notch. The jams were tight. They took Jerry deep, and the extra contribution to cover Eaton was shocking. They are all individually, amazing muscians.

Just wanted to let many of you know how much I miss you. No need to name the individuals, you all know who you are. It feels like a curse to love, it is a sword that can be a curse, but it's also a sword that protects, projects the beauty of what it means to be human, what it means to care, to miss, and to want to reconnect. I hope I can reconnect here soon. I have plans for it, but even if love is real, plans can still fade. I heard a voice yesterday I have not heard in a long while. You made me smile brother. Despite out differences, I still love you. I passed through Atlanta for work. I got to stay with a person I truly admire and respect. He and his wife fed me, shared with me drinks, I nearly watched him fall in his lake. 10% ipa will do that. But he reminded me how this music has given me friends that I will always have, love, and cherish. TR once shared with me the power of these forms. Being me, I thought I knew what he meant, but being me, I foolishly did not truly understand the depth of his words. Through laughter, experiences, love, and defeat, I now understand how beautiful it all really is. How beautiful this place is, how beautiful you all are. Thank you DSO, thank you TR, and thank you beautiful people for enriching my life!! Though distant these days, for reasons many of you know about, I am still here and with you all in my heart, and I know many of you feel the same. We can get off the bus, but the bus still always waits for us to get back on. With out love in the dream, it will never come true. Thanks for keeping my dreams alive through all the love and support offered. Your starheads are most certainly the best of the best, and I am lucky to still have the light shine on even the darkest star!! Thank you!!

Rob B was on fire last night. Pig was done justice, but in order to pull off what thry did last night, everyone had to be on fire, and they were. It was slammed pack full of sound and vibrations. Got to share it with some of our DSO family. Pillars who i go to when i am feeling weird and need a reality check. Several times i needed it last night, as the dance from the music, and the vibe of the crowd, i found myself lost. It got super psychedelic last night. The alligator caution stuff was mind blowing. The vocals on doing that rag was super duper with a cherry on top. It was amazing stuff. The drums never stopped, they continued and poured out beats all night. Fast and rythmic. Even when the strings made no sense the drums kept your body moving swift and in a steady frenzy. The beats and bass through out cryptical---other one crypt was mind blowing at the least. It was so tight....so fucking tight. All of it was just high powered in your face jams with a complete command of the material. Un flipping believable. Absolutley some very good early dead. A BIG BIG THANKS TO DSO!!!

Oh wow is right. Last night was definitely my top 5 DSO shows. Non stop dance, kick ass aweso me dance vibe. Even the people who did not know what was going on got on their feet and shaked it down. The quality of the music, and intensity matched at the 69 jubille show. All happened in my backyard. What a fullfilling night!!! I got to get into the actual dance because the jams were so long and phenomenal. Spirtual psychedelic rockin roll. I did have to tell some to shut during mountains, but other than that, there was plenty of space to get down and groove. God the music was top teir. How jrad sells more tickets i dont get it. Dead and co. I dont get it. DSO performed flawless last night. It was out of this world music. Fucking took it all the way back to 68!!!! How many 68's hsve you seen Rick:)!!!

I agree Crazy D......richmond is full of beer spilling drunks. I help with that by showing others how to drink a lot, dance, and not spill your beer!! If last night elective, tonight is going to produce some creative wonders!!!

Morning dew was phenomenal!! Show was good energy 80's. Proabably best 80's show i seen performed by DSO!!

Around here we call it the Tidewater. Hampton is one of the murder capitals of the world. Reasons extend into the history of the civil war books. With bad, comes the good, and though my mind had yet to truley wrap around the music of the Warlocks, due to close proxcimity of my living situation and my inclination towards travel, abuse, and the extreme desire to do what my parents did not want me to do,......I too got the Warlocks. Got two other shows there, and i think 2 JGB's. The recordings reveal to me more majic than i was able to understand, but thanks for the knowledge that we might of bumped into each other PG. If we did.....i was not yet dancing like a person who cared more about the music than the thoughts of those watchin me, but it was shows like this that created the spark of okism in my now presentstion enjowed with DSO. Time passes, i was 13 at that time. Only 6ft then, as the ritilan stunted my growth, so says mom, but it still hit with a force. More so from the crowd and excitement than the words ripped, and the slicing sounds of musical bliss. Easy to get lost in this morning, but a smile indeed produced. Thanks for a shared memory, even though its shared 27 years later. Where did the time go?

And these words are why we boys need a poet around. Love is best when shared, and I most definitely share it with those on this page....and then some. Thanks for being the good souls the world needs for a better place!!! Love y'all back......would say the moon and back, but I think I met most of you at the mars hotel!!

Not sure why I look backwards so much these days. Times more simple, less chaotic. Life has always been chaos, who am I kidding. I do miss this stuff though. I do miss the scene. RFK, A 100,000 plus, and you find friends and your truck in the far out spaces of that venue. See people from each show to the next. Yoou see them more and more and eventually you realized, you to were that familure face that they see. It eventually turns into a community, a family. Dysfunctional, for sure, but one with rules, sentiments, curiosities, and though changes happen it has not seem too fade away. Hope y'all remember to tell the ones you love that you love them. Hearing it makes it real, acting on it makes it worth loving back. Hope someone reads this today tomorrow and it reminds them to tell their mom, gf, wife, child, grandparent, a friend, a stranger.....that you love and want to share it. It helps others do the same.

So.....how about those Giants, bills, Bears, Panthers, NE, broncos, Green Bay this year? :)!!! Nothing like viloent contact sports to lighten the load!! Really need to dance!!

Would you even know me if you did not know I was a tad nutty? Thanks for allowing me to share some darkness. Internal battles on forums probably not the best idea, but you had to like how i connected so many songs to so much of life. Sucks.....in a rush...at Lowe's. Way behind....leaving Thursday...and if they don't put a going down the road feeling bad right when I pull up. I am so strong. In many ways... I promise....I am weak to the music. I am staying, listening...killing minutes...but gaining goose bumps..... God I love this sound. No matter the era....gdtfb always makes me smile no matter the moment. A good hint to some of y'all. If you want to shut me up....turn this song on, and I will start dancing!!! It sounds cool, and I truly believe time and season of conception will impart similar characteristics of others in a regional capacity. for instance, December babies from Buenos Aires are different than December babies from South Carolina....the whole hemisphere thing...... north africa , though the med makes different climate shares longutudial exactness with many us cities. medetereanian, same as Midwest..mid east..... why....because syamerians, babaolonians, Egypt, large geometric formations with the stars, gave rise to the words you two discuss, which is impacted by the fact the three of us share similarities in seasonal experience due to the longutudial relationship. I think its why so many of you all were born in December. I would.live to know the ratio of people in this board to their b date. sorry. not trying to impugn your thoughts about "astrology", as I am trying to convince you it has more to do with terrestial factors than stellar! however, the cosmos was and has been our constant of time keeping, a important factor and evaloution of humanity, so a seemingly causal link, but arguably misplaced. However the romantacism of distant features having effect on us is not, though human/ego centric in root, wrong in my eyes, as I still subscribe to the decorative ideas of romantacism, in that the extraterestial does influence the terrestial life, but not so much as I believe it. it does seems to take away the real reason for similarties of behavior and personality by birth dates, and stellar and planatery alignments based on Earth's location in a universe larger than many can even come conceptualize, and more multiple than many people know. short cut to thought...but a great intro into the deeper philosophies and science of astronomy, and human development. it gives creedance to human obersvation, but also gives rise to false explanation. thanks for encouraging me to think about certain things again. it's been a while. nice to feel my brain working more and not my heart. remember though....constellations looked different just 10,000 years ago, and it's only 2017 on Earth, and it's existence in it's parallel universe, but that I don't know for sure!!
