I don't feel like many on here follow the NBA that closely. We talk college hoops and football. Some NFL. But not much NBA. I, for one, am excited about this years playoffs. I feel it's truly wide open. My sixers could win it all. Or the Bucks again. Maybe the Celtics and you can't rule out the Nets. That's just in the East. Warriors or Suns look strong in the West but you wouldn't be shocked if Memphis pulled it off.

We caught the first set of Shakedown st with Stu Allen tonight. Quality music although Stu played respectful with their Jerry guy and I feel could've stood out more if he chose. The crowd kind of sucked. Lots of standing and talking. At one point, we found a decent spot behind the soundboard but of course that's in the vicinity of the ping pong table. After one song, two people decided it was time to play ping pong. We had to move. Sometimes the Denver dead scene disappoints me but of course I'm that overly critical dead fan that wants the crowd to be quiet and dancing while the band plays. At the very least, quiet and listening to the show. You know, engaged in the music. It's often more of a social hour at so many roads. Of course, we will be back. They get some good dead acts to come through. JGB pretty frequently. I had two strong thoughts after. I want a bob weir stfu shirt and I miss the old DSO days when I first got into this music when at least it seemed to me more people went to these shows to listen then to be seen and be heard. I love my DSO family. They bring the heat and taught me to respect the music. I doubt we resurrect the rugs but the rug people brought it every night at the jubilee. We had some epic dance parties. It was special to be apart of it. Can't wait for May. We catching the Caverns and Memphis plus Jubilee. It's going to be a great month of music. Thank you so much DSO for enriching my life and bringing me that ultimate joy. So much love for this band and this community. I miss you guys and love you.

Dark star was solid. Major sound issues for JGB and Oteil. That was a big bummer.

No one is saying the SEC champ doesn't deserve to be in or even number one. I'd even fight for Georgia to be the number 4 team if they played Bama close. You know a 24 to 21 game. A game like auburn played. Georgia got handled start to finish.

Ya Georgia let us all down. 2 SEC teams again. CFP is getting boring in its current format. Just crown SEC champ national champ. If you not in SEC you have to do more to get in. It's almost feels like intentional corruption. Keep league special. Georgia through that game. Bama couldn't score against Auburn. This amazing QB couldn't get it done against Auburn then he smokes Georgia. Let's do best of 3 from the top of SEC.

Where were you Ed?

In a tremendous stroke of irony, I was given door duty to enforce mask wearing mandate during community service at the habitat for humanity restore store. Jefferson county just put a new mask mandate in place. I will be wearing a mask at work too. So much for getting vaccinated no mask.

Delilah is coming she crushes it on the dance floor

Tread lightly here boys. I spoke out against corona virus restrictions at the very beginning and I got lambasted here. It seems dissent is more acceptable now but be wary you may get told off.

Been a long while since I've seen a splintered show.

That's fair Rude. I have my suspicions. But I do not know this to be fact and it is unfair to for me to label as such with no evidence.

Abear is decent Jerry player if he's not drunk. He often imbibes too much pre show. He plays locally ish for me at a bar called the woodcellar in evergreen. He was also in JGB for a time being but the current JGB line up is a definite upgrade.

Skull and roses is a Deadhead's dream festival. For those of us who spend most of the festival at camp listening to the dead or listening to friends play the dead, this festival is off the charts. Although a few of these bands won't play dead music or strictly dead music, most of the acts throughout the day play Grateful Dead. Obviously at various levels, but I know I'd rather see the local dead cover band over 95 percent of the other bands that play festivals. This years line up is a step up from years previous in my opinion. DSO first time. Phil's first time. Then a whole host of the usual bands that play this festival. I am going to attend and plan to be present at the music for most of the acts. Mango if you going touchbase with me. I will book an Airbnb with a full kitchen. You can stay with us.

I'm not sure bill gates is involved in human trafficking but I think there is evidence to suggest he partakes in underage sex parties. Just had a billionaire party on a yacht where those working were not allowed cell phones. He has a known relationship with the dead pedoisland guy. His wife left him. He's a creepy pervy dude for sure.

They were hinting at the death don't a few times during the first set. I told whitney they were going to play death don't sometime around rider. Set had a Covid related lose of loved one theme with a box opener and essentially death don't closer.

We get down bigger tonight And I didn't post until this morning. Woke up and it wasn't up yet. Had to text a Rob to get a date. Then shot it right up.

Good catch I don't know if they'll let me edit it now so I guess we get to entries from this date

We've heard of some positive tests for Covid. I'm vaccinated and have had COVID at least twice so I don't feel like I would even notice much if I had it again. Maybe a scratchy throat or minor cough but that's happens after a night of partying or smoking too many cigars.

We will see you there. Getting excited.

We planning on Atlanta what's the name of the hotel? My recent car trouble has hindered my plans but I'm still committed to figuring it out.
