congrats to you guys. now thats a rarity getting the list correct if not writing every song down. If im not doing it song by song i always miss a few and sometimes have zero recollection of the ones i missed. Noticed all the love songs in the set. It’s nice they took requests. That’s also rare lol. But it was private and not actually Dso. I do like on Facebook all the peeps requesting songs and I’m like well that won’t get played now lol.

And btw i nailed the set list correct order all songs.

So there are 3 more rooms at this resort than the last place. However the last place all the rooms were 2 people only rooms. This place has several accommodations that can hold 4 or even 6 people. I don’t know what they will decide to do with the bigger rooms and max accompany but I expect groups of at least 4 maybe 6 to be able to book rooms together. This place allows kids during normal operations so I will have to see how that plays out. We won’t be bringing our kids to stay at the resort either way although have considered bringing grandma to Jamaica along with the kids to a different resort. New place has a water park would def water park it up with my kids during the day if an option. I got sidetracked there though I think the 6 person occupancy rooms assume you putting some kids on a pull out couch. Funny thing is a few times recently the kids have managed to steal the comfy bed in the hotel and I’ve ended up on the pull out couch.

I love the set lists. I provided the band with a framework and songs I’d like to hear but also that I wanted some of their own choices input. Two souls was a must play. World to give encore was definitely a big want plus the help slip franklin opener. They definitely added some more love bird selections. Standing on the moon and broken arrow was all them. Looking back maybe I should have asked for a shining star but everything was just exactly perfect really. Two souls really captures where I was when Whitney saved my soul saved my life brought back purpose and meaning to my life. I am forever grateful for that. So glad I got to fly on the wings of love one more times. Without love in the dream it will never come true

We had a full-on compound! Replete with solar lights to illuminate your path to the tent courtyard. Just exactly perfect except for the poison ivy oversight right where the bathroom was.....

Last night Skip Vangelas Rob Baracco John Kadlecik Rob Eaton Jay Lane and Jake Wolf played a private concert for us in celebration of Whitney and my marriage. Whitney and I got married April 25 2025. Last night was something real special on so many levels for me. I must start by thanking Mitch Stein and Jake Wolf for helping me put this together. The production was top of the line. I must also give many thanks to Prescott who really helped me get the ball rolling on this. Putting me in touch with Jake and directing me Mitch Cafe Istanbul. Without Mitch Jake and Pres this would not have been possible. I also must thank the band for putting on such an incredible show for us. What an experience. Their performance was top of the line Grateful Dead music. Sadly I can’t remember the whole set list and I’m gonna make this post before I can get it from someone but I have a loose recollection. My first DSO show had the sandwich man on keys! Sadly a few weeks later he departed for a higher calling. Bless him and his amazing talent and eternal energy for getting me on a bus I’ve remained a passenger for 20yrs now! We miss you, but that means we remember and honor you. ✌️

The place to be is on the fenceline left of the entrance. Friends took over a whole corner there back in the day. Get there early and set up a couple EZ ups to further claim real estate. Relatively level and grassy. Throughly enjoyable experience. Use care leaving on Monday as state police are watching. Praise DSO.

I’m a rookie to this festy and so pumped! Could someone give me any feedback on the RV camping- I have a 40’ GA RV spot. info on: when should I get in line (is there a line)? am I allowed a van/tents as well? is it all grassy/ shady spots? Slopes? main thing to know that I probably don’t realize right now? lol! thank guys! See you there!!

I think it's great that the band is playing Dayton, Ohio on a Saturday night, very generous to our area, especially considering we get a three night stand and camp every spring tour
