  2. Don't Ease closed a 2nd set in 1987? I'd have put money against that. Nice change up!
  3. 1987-10-02 Shoreline Amphitheatre Mountain View, CA Cold Rain & Snow, Little Red Rooster, Stagger Lee, Me & My Uncle-> Mexicali Blues, Row Jimmy, Far From Me, Let It Grow China Cat Sunflower-> I Know You Rider, Women Are Smarter, Ship of Fools, Truckin'-> Drums, Jam-> The Wheel-> Gimme Some Lovin'-> All Along The Watchtower > Don't Ease Me In E: Black Muddy River F: The Shape I'm In, Positively 4th Street, Mr. Charlie
  4. I almost went, both nights. Did a drive by Saturday night on my way home from my granddaughter’s fourth birthday party. I coulda caught the second half but had so much fun with my granddaughter that I actually was quite satisfied and just kept heading home. I do realize what I passed up. It’s been quite a long time since I’ve seen John K. And Eaton on the same stage. Highlight of the day, my granddaughter’s T shirt that she wore on her birthday; Four Ever Young
  5. I vouch for dude put him up if you can. He’d do the same for you.
  6. The whole reason we went to Philadelphia was for Dupree diamond 3 and like we always are we were late and missed it had to tell skip when I saw him we missed it.
  7. Penns peak has a legit shakedown but it can pop anywhere and many venders show up here and there at Dso and create mini shakedown. These are do dead and co even phish and panic to make there living but love Dso and you might get 3 or 4 venders but they legit heads and I support them every time. Just saw smoke for the first time in at least 5 years probably longer. Bought some wares from him for sure. Also left my debit card at his set up. Got it back the next night. Trust dude through and through and I did way before leaving my debit card. Whitney made sure to buy stuff from all vendors including a jar of cauliflower from a vendor knowing we couldn’t bring it home on the airplane. I also scored a sweet not fade away welcome mat from another vendor. Some of you know not fade away was/is a common sign off of mine on posts. Cafe Istanbul where we had our private event and axial tilt played as well as jgb during jazz fest had a a pretty legit shakedown. Balloons and all. It was missing the bacon chicken ranch. Can’t wait to see you guys at the jubilee. Never stop never stop.
  8. I’m not gonna lie I hope the sit in happens but I also hope this doesn’t happen. I’ll put a 100 on Dso with Warren playing low spark Sunday night. Any takers?
  9. We caught some of the Ardmore stuff. It was great to be back at brownies. I bought a sweat shirts. Whitney and I definitely represented to the last band on the 2nd night. Felt good to get dance practice again. They don’t really post here anymore but they will get the joke. Place has changed much more a commercial venue then the dive bar that splintered played on the thursdays nights. Back door a few songs into the show and you could walk in the back door and dance for free.
  10. Penn's Peak actually has a small Shakedown. Praise DSO.

  14. Every year January-May is a really busy time of year for me, and this year is no exception. It's been so busy that today was the first day I've had a chance to remember that Dark Star Jubilee is in a couple of weeks. Even though when the price increased I did feel more temptation to find alternate plans, when the time comes and all things aside, I genuinely love this event and the weekend and its usually the first weekend I can intentionally relax away from my chores. Have to miss friday due to life but looking forward to Sat>Sun and hey, having Warren sit in with the band would be great, thanks

  18. Spring Tour kicks off 2Night in St. Paul, MN - safe travels to all! Gee, I wonder if they'll play Big River.... Warming up for Jubilee❤️
  19. Probably no dedicated Shakedown although Shakedown vibes can often be based on whether there’s communal parking. If the parking isn’t scattered, you might see vestiges of a Shakedown. Wilmington, NC venue is the closest I’ve ever seen to an actual one. Great people, great vibes all around the venue as people wait for doors to open. They are all just friends you haven’t met yet! Here’s to a killer show in Milwaukee - DSO always plays great in that town
  20. My husband's going to the show in Milwaukee on May 19th, and heard they do a Shakedown Street like the Dead. But we can't find any information about where and when if it's happening. Does anyone know?
