  1. Seeing JT was the highlight…solid first show for a 5 month old. Could tell he enjoyed the scene…Apple doesn’t fall far… It really did feel like a normal show except for cars in the way. Space was in front or behind parked cars as in between could only fit single file. Very little security hassles in line with good time crowd.

  2. Half the place came up between row 1 and 2 to dance. The crowd was getting down. We actually got row 4-10 because we wanted baby to sleep set 2 but they moved us to front row so we had no choice. Baby rocked out. He loved it. There were 25 friends from all over dancing with us in the aisle. Would be great tonight if they said all cars need to park in the back so everyone can dance together. That row between 1 and 2 had prob 150 people getting down. Was super high energy. Omg the PA was loud. It was so loud that people could barely stand at the rail. The sound was amazing behind the stage at the bathrooms. It sounded great everywhere. I was afraid even with headphones baby would go deaf lol. He slept the entire 2nd set 10 feet from the PA in the car. Popped his headphones on and he was oblivious. Night 2 baby is with her parents so we can roam around. Was great to see so many friends. Really glad we did these. Parking lots aren’t ideal but this was pretty solid. Oh and the show smoked. Wasn’t much dancing reprieve plus had the baby Bjorn on all set 1. Little JT did 8k steps in that set. See everyone tonight.

  4. Was a great 1st show for him. Having the car there was clutch. Let meili pump and feed him in the AC and opened up his bassinet for set 2 so he could sleep. He could have probably handled a set 2 but he wouldn’t have been a happy camper. He loved all the nice people who came up to him. His head was on a swivel with so many people to check out.

  5. Sunny did another Poca after that. Nearly positive of it. I always did the 6 hour drive. Would love to see a black mountain weekend pop up.

  6. So I borrowed and updated Bobs "Let Trey Sing" T-Shirt idea for my DSO Columbia Speedway Show. I have always been a huge Lisa Fan (and Donna too) so I had a "Let Lisa Sing" t-shirt custom made. Fortunately for me, our "Pod" was next to the sound board and the soundman (Conners?) seen my shirt and took a photo and said he would forward it to Lisa. I told him to let her know I want a photo with her, this was 30 min prior to show starting. So 7:PM come around and no photo op so I got as close to the stage as I dared until Lisa seen my shirt. She smiled and waved in appreciation so happy with that, I returned to our assigned POD. Now fast forward to intermission and my friends and I were sitting and talking then behind me I hear someone say "alright lets do this". When I turned around imagine my surprise to see Lisa standing there! I jumped to my feet and my friend Scarlett quickly grabbed her cell phone and I got my photo with Lisa! Yes Lisa did sing her usual backing vocals as it was an elective set then for the encore she belted out The Stranger! Wow!!! Lisa, thank you for making my night! You (and all the fellas in the band) are just awesome every time!

  7. they cranked that Franklin. The speakers were starting to distort at the crescendo. Meili literally plugged her ears as did a few others up front and this is someone who heads to a spot in front of the PA at Panic shows. It was that loud. I joked to barraco that they needed to turn it up a bit at set break. He laughed knowing how loud that PA was. I think tonight we are going behind the SBD. The sound was awesome there and you got a bit of air between your ears and the PA. It was 85+ at start of the show but it stopped no one from getting down. What a treat. Covid protocols are over. Security didn’t give a crap that we all packed together to groove. Plus it’s BYOB(unofficial policy). The single barrel woodford special reserve got passed around so much it didn’t survive the night. That was supposed to be a 2 night bottle. Now I have to crack the knob creek single barrel reserve 120 proof for tonight.

  8. You don’t even realize you’re dancing to “Let’s hear it for the boys” at 8:30 AM ona Saturday until you see all the people in the grocery store staring at you. 🤦🏻

  9. 80/06/12 Portland Memorial Coliseum, Portland, OR Alabama Getaway>Promised Land, Peggy-o, El Paso, Brown Eyed Women, Cassidy, Far From Me, Althea, Lost Sailor>Saint of Circumstance>Deal. Drums>Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain, Estimated Prophet>Drums>Space>Not Fade Away> Black Peter>Round and Round>Good Lovin'. E: Johnny B. Goode. Mount Saint Helens erupted during Fire on the Mountain. Several eruptions occurred on this evening, a 2.5 mile plume of ash at 7:05, about the time the band took the stage and at 9:09 a much stronger explosion send ash 10 miles up during the Fire. People reported driving home from the show with ash on their windows. Praise DSO.

  10. Meili and I did a blow up queen. It was all guys besides that.Cosmic Mike Chris Ron you and I forget the last. We had 6-7 in that tiny cabin but we were dry. You brought that AC for the window that was epic and saved our ass. They did a poca show for many years after that right before black mountain but it was 1 night with a 6 hour drive. We all just got that big house in BM and skipped poca and hung out. I think a few went to poca and got back at 6am.

  11. A few years ago at the Sweetwater 420 Fest in Atlanta it rained cats, dogs, and frogs. The band was under a roof but at the rail we were soaked. At one point the rain changed from a downpour to dumping buckets on us and the crowd let out a mighty cheer for the storm as the band played on. Peace and Love, Doc

  12. Also was at the rain show. If I recall Rob B. keyboard was shorting out with all the water that was dumping on it. Haven't seen DSO in like a year and a half. Way too long. Thanks for the PA stop, very much looking forward to this
