  1. Ummmm...I'm nearly certain that "warm heart" was not played bc i love that song and would remember!
  2. Had the pleasure of catching Jeff and friends last night In my hometown. A nice crowd assembled at the Ardmore Music Hall and they received the music well. I loved it, love hearing Jeff play his red Strat. It has a markedly different sound and he seems to play in a different style when not in dso. More Jeff, less Jerry. Here's some songs They played. Not In order Tore up, who was john, mighty high, deal, leave me out of this RB, say that i am RB...some of Jeffs songs (all great cant remember any names) and Lisa sang quite a few as wel), including the encore which i think was Grace slick. Always a pleasure, i look forward to the next JMF show.
  3. I'm going, don't have a ticket yet, but I'm feeling like I'll just buy one to support the band.excited for this show!!
  4. They might just be an astronomy freak...
  5. Scotty be overshadowing the rest of us. I could only make it to a meager 8 shows. And I guess I missed the show of the tour? Perhaps, but I did get to see Scotty dance in his PJ's in Vegas. Video evidence to follow....
  6. "There's never been a best as best as this"
  7. We needed that extra day off. Phew! Got to spend an extra day with friends in the bay area!

This shit was next level. I agree with John A- this show was more than it may appear. perhaps the most fun show of the tour- Eugene right there too. Perhaps tonight in Vegas will br the cherry on top...
  12. Friday night is always more spacious than Saturday...

    Portland #2

Not my night dance wise...but in the long run a hilarious night with friends. That Stella was a life saver for me, helping me to re-congeal back into my body. After 12+ hours of sleep last night im ready to hit the ground running in Eugene tonight!
  14. That was more than a little fun
  15. Potentially as far as warfield(and inevitably Tahoe...) But decidedly indeterminate. Portland>Ashland yes.
  16. Any day now...see y'all in Portland. I'm excited, wish it was now. But gonna rest up and stretch and get my body ready to groove. I intend to bring the heat~let's make fire
  17. I would imagine the band will release a sbd copy for sale at some point

    Jam night 2

I need to make a really intentional effort if i am to afford it. Constant credit card debt that i can never quite escape (some from touring...) And desire for more schooling have my funds pretty tight. But who knows?

Thanks for sharing. Making me want to make the effort for next year!
  20. Gimmr some lovin wss second set after foolish heart before uncle johns
  21. Black throated wind. Greatest story ever told China doll Mr Charlie
  22. I don't know about Santa but I'm ready for DSO. Gotta get some Distinguished Service Order in before the year is out! if there is a Santa, he'll count it for next Xmas.
  23. I don't believe there is a consistent pattern. Just when you think it's one thing, they do the opposite. Kuddos to Eaton for keeping us on our toes. If there as a code to be cracked, we would have cracked it. Additionally, for the record, BM last year was a 77 second night and Elective first. DSO hasn't recreated a NYE show on NYE since 2014 when they did 84 I think? Personally I'd much rather an elective. My fav NYE shows over the years have been....09 Mattson's first NYE, utter psychedelic meltdown and a forum family private dance party in an obscure balcony of the Ram's Head 2013 in Long Island. Great Elective with an epic dance party in the back balcony. 2015 at Efactory. maybe one of the greatest shows I've seen period. Mostly early style elective, acoustic first set. 2017, last year, was really great too. Another Elective. But I'm intentionally missing NYE this year for the first time since Denver 06. Hanging out home with Friends instead. If i had to guess, i'd say in philly will be one Elective and one recreation, with the Elective highlighting songs of the Recreation's era that weren't played. Elective first, then a late 80s. Looking forward to these shows!

I'm attempting to listen to today from 1993. Its rough...like really not very good. I'm guessing the ambiance helped? Or drugs? As i type am kind of enjoying Vince's piano solo on eyes. Gna skip to days between. After a steady diet of 72-74...well...yeah.
