  2. ....for those that can't make it to Jubilee, Nugs will begin a Livestream at 430p on 5/23.
  3. Thanks, Rob. Sure hope Lisa heals up well for the weekend festivities - everyone's happier when she gets to belting it out! Safe travels to the band and crew!
  4. Lisa has laryngitis so we did it more like an elective in the style of 😉
  5. Thanks for the list! Did they not perform From the Heart of Me? It was part of the original 1/5/1979 show. Hope you had a blast 💥
  6. …. While the boys sing ‘round the fire….
  7. Bluegate Performing Arts Center January 1979 show #1 Sugaree Minglewood Candyman Mama Tried Mexicali BEW MNS #2 Bertha> Good Lovin Must Have Been the Roses Estimated> Eyes Druuummmmsssspace Truckin> Nobody's Fault But Mine> Black Peter> O & 0! E: Johnny B Good F: The Weight
  8. Asking for a friend who is making the long trip from New Orleans > Does anyone have a miracle or cheap ticket to Jubilee. She would be forever grateful Thank you so much! LIVE music around campground will be real!!
  9. There are vendors that sell firewood. Please be careful and use good judgment if it’s windy. Saw some knuckleheads start a fire a a couple feet from tents when winds were gusty. A communal fire sound awesome with a bunch o Drums! Looks like no chance of getting cooked outta your tent this year. The dancing temperature looks to be supremely optimum to boot. Have a blast Jubilee’ers! Trying to solidify ATL > AVL to treat the sting of missing jubilee again.
  10. Lows dipping into the 40s at night.. Does Legend Valley have any communal bonfires anywhere on the property for warmth?
  11. Asking for a friend who is making the long trip from New Orleans > Does anyone have a miracle or cheap ticket to Jubilee? She would be forever grateful Thank you so much!
  12. Yesterday
  13. Yesterday was beautiful wide open clear skies traveling and today is a wonderful all day spring rain travels heading for the ship of fools ⚡🎶🛞🇱🇷
  14. Hey now. A good friend of mine (that many of you know) is looking for a ticket if anyone has an extra to sell - or miracle! looking forward to seeing everyone!!
  15. Encore was Easy Wind, Honky Tonk Women. Saw the printed setlist and was supposed to be Woodstock > Volunteers. Really grate show
  16. Here’s what I got - unofficially. Let see if it matches Ammagamalin Crews recollection: Original Recipe Promised Land, Jack-A-Roe, Lazy Lightning > Supplication, Easy to Love You, Black Throated Wind, Loose Lucy, Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, Catfish John, China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider Hell in a Bucket, Shakedown Street > Corrina > St Stephen > Drums > Space > Fire on the Mountain > Dear Mr Fantasy > Mission in the Rain > GDTRFB E: Easy Wind, Honky Tonk Women
  17. I came in for the end of set one Catfish John China Rider Apparently they opened with Promised Land, Easy to Love You, BTW, Lazy/Supp, Loose Lucy, Tom Thumb, Catfish China Rider! Set break
  18. Yea! That filler is killer! I just read the set list for the third time but this time my eyes went right to that filler. Ended up reading the set list backwards and just started laughing. DSO is just messing with us. They’re ringing every last ounce of dance energy out of us. That’s why they’re smiling on stage. They got us again. I wasn’t even there and I’m exhausted.
  19. Last week
  20. Lucky this show was possible as lots of destruction from previous nights tornado lurked just blocks away. No power within 2 blocks and many many huge trees uprooted and strewn over main rd from interstate to venue. No internet service closed many of nearby businesses as credit card usage was limited (requiring paper backup) or non existent. Solid recreation albeit relatively short by GD standards. The filler was my favorite part! Not many walking the dogs or ripples in my DSO adventures surely the first for me in same night.
  21. Vic81

    Jeopardy

That’s awesome, grandma put me on long ago, been watching ever since. I’ll look out for him
  22. I really should proofread my posts my mom taught English as a second language and was an English major. She would be disappointed.
  23. Amazing show overall. Second set was absolutely smoking. Thank you DSO!
  24. Yes some do in fact bring instruments and jam
  25. RE: Campground pickin and jammin? Greetings Jubilee veterans - Do many of the campers bring instruments to jam on in the campground? Campground pickup jams are some of my favorite festival activities and has always served as a great way to meet new peeps. Some festivals attract pickers in spades where there's jam under every other EZ-up, and others where people look at me like I'm from Mars.
  26. The cops seem to gather around the Interstate highway, both nearby and down the road. I found it safer to exit south away from the big highway. Go slow toward the next small town. It might take you on a little longer trip but could save a hassle. Peace and Love Doc
