A perfect marriage of venue, headspace and band performance on a lovely Saturday afternoon in Palo Alto. Spent the afternoon within eyeshot of the Big Man, and had several looks shoot through me like a lightning bolt. Inspired performance throughout, ten song first, only China>Rider set close I saw, 1 of 2 Race Is Ons. Endless second set, Jerry MIDI breakout, Steve Parrish handing him a generic white guitar for the Space>Take You Home. A dreamy day. Praise DSO. https://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1989/05/06
