Luke and I went to see the End of the Line Allman Bros tribute. I liked it better musically than Allman Betts family revival tour (although I enjoyed both). had a Buffalo Springfield for what it’s worth jam in blue sky and a spacey st Stephen jam in whippin post.

9 versions, all in '85. 1st set, pre-drums, post-space, encores - you name it. Anyone have a favorite? Or general commentary? I do as I am want to, but I'll refrain for now. Why drop this, Jerry? The Garcia/Kahn treatment clearly drove the muse, but how did it not work with The Dead? Of course just one of hundreds such questions, but that doesn't mean we can't ask 'em aloud...

Another fabulous launch topic, JohnA. Always partial to 85/11/21 Kaiser, last play. A cherished tape in my collection, lost to a break-in outside Pittsburgh Civic Arena. 11/21 a capsule of 85 goodness, beyond the SBTM, they opened with Big Boy Pete (7 plays) and encored with Walking the Dog (6 plays). The show itself may cloud my judgement of the song. It happens. Praise DSO.

We all owe Ron a big "Thanks" for all he does for our DSO community. Those few days of darkness should remind us that staying in touch with our friends is so important. Ron told me that the renewal date for the forum's domain name snuck up on him and he appreciates the reminder. I don't know how much it costs to run this forum but in the past there was some method to kick in some funds to help Ron out. Maybe someone can remind us how we can do that. Thank you, Ron.
