The moonrise is the most uninsulated hotel I’ve ever been. You can hear quiet conversations all down the hallway. We were harassed and harassed by management and even when we went full whisper he said we can still hear you. I told him to stop harassing us and he left us alone but I’ll never stay there again. The bar downstairs is great. We’ve had hopslam on tap, evil twin brewery Molotov cocktail on tap(13%), and I forget the 12% stout we had. Every time we’ve been there they have some amazing high abv beer on tap. Unfortunately they eliminated the couch seating in favor of all tables so it doesn’t have the cool post show lounge we got used to there.

That was the worst football game I’ve watched in a long time and it had potential for one of the greatest finishes ever. It was futility plus luck for Tampa to get to within 6pts. They almost had 2 delay of games down 14 with 10 mins left. Took over 5 mins to cross midfield. Saw some live comments on a blog wondering if they knew they were down 2 scores. Took over 7 minutes off the clock. Baker mayfield was so out of shape he was slowly walking to the huddle. Never saw an NFL starting QB that fatigued who wasn’t scrambling for his life like Mahomes in the lost SB but he was chased all night and Mayfield looked just out of shape.

The 1st 3 would be fun besides the rental car drop off fee. Those are stupid and there is no option unless you wanna backtrack 7 hours from LA to start the tour in Tempe. That sunshine leg would be a blast!!

you can have all the money in the world and 1st row seats balcony in venues and you have no room to move. We’ve been getting balcony if we know it’s gonna be packed to have seat plus floor options. In Atlanta I shmoozed the usher and told her how respectful I’d be of others if I can dance in the walkway. She said just don’t run into people. I’m like boom!!! Unfortunately was just me in a 10x10 spot with her running others away. Mei had a whole row and she was cool. I needed to move front to back

I think the band likes the gorgeous theaters. I love a mega flat dance floor like that place. Give me a flat spot and room to move and that’s all i need. The Signal in Chattanooga wax just like the anthem but 5x+ smaller floor and 10x smaller overall. The anthem is the bees knees. glad you guys got to groove in the anthem. Saw Dso 3x and Jrad once there and it always blows me away.

Sorry didn’t get to say goodbye doc. As soon as that last note played I booked it out for the long drive home. Pretty sure I told my goodbyes to all pre show. Gaining an hour got us home at 3a as opposed to 4a and she got 3 hours sleep b4 work. I was joking with some Atlanta peeps why they weren’t doing Chattanooga with only 1:45 drive. I’m llike who doesn’t add a show that close. YoU are home by 1:30. That’s a no brainer. Some peeps need to fix their priorities not doing local shows like that. Some thought it was insane to see a show 1:45 away like Chattanooga to Atlanta. Pretty much everyone here besides John A tries to do every show if only 2 hours away.

it’s like do you prefer the anthem or a theater. I’ll take a box with a big flat dance floor over being behind a seat or on a slant all day. The signal was my fav of the 2 indoor b/c I could move. On that note I’ll take outdoor all day with a big PA. Cotter walked by in Birmingham and asked if it was too loud. Nope. Perfect. We can always move back if too loud but nothing you can do if not loud enough.

there’s an amazing Japanese sushi restaurant there balled NaRa-Ya. We had this insane wagyu beef tartar appetizer that was presented under a dome of smoke. Never ate raw ground beef before but it was delish!!!

Now that was a fun crowd. We all had room to get down and I tried to keep up with the kids in the back but I had no chance. Full on get down with 50 hard hard dancers ruling the back and post D/S when the gawkers left the entire place was in full get down. Watching 300 peeps no matter if they ever danced before all get down b/c if you weren’t shaking your bones you’d be really out of place, is always a hoot!! We left drenched and exhausted and hit the road for the 4 hour drive home. Thank you DSO for reminding us what our favorite band does like no other!!! When I say DSO is Meilis fav band they are like that’s because of you. No. I did start it of course. There’s nothing that does it for her like this. Dso is what the dead was for older peeps and thank you for carrying on the elite level of dead for the new and older generations and the new generation was on display in Chattanooga and their get down was fun to be involved with. Cheers. also this was my 200th show. Covid delayed that small milestone 3 years as we’d prob be at 300 without the shutdown>covid baby.

you’re right that winning is all that matters in the nfl, but the eagles don’t look as dominant as they did last year. Dallas fired Kellen Moore who when Dak wasn’t injured had the highest scoring offense in the NFL over the last 3 seasons. This year the offense isn’t what it was. Worst red zone team vs best last year. He got fired for not putting us over the hump vs the 49ers….now we likely wish him back.

It’s one of the epic new breed of large dedicated music venues for bands that 2k is too small and arenas are too large. It has the biggest flat GA dance floor there is. I think the GA floor part only is like 4k capacity and overall capacity is 6k. The PA is fantastic. Very loud. It’s a cashless joint fyi. You will have big fun!!!!! Lots of places to drink within 100 feet. It’s got a really easy Uber pickup and drop off spot. It’s part of a 2bil development and it’s patrolled by cops and cameras but that’s just for protection from violence. In pretty much every big city weed is irrelevant to cops in tourist areas. They care about protecting the tax base and a shooting kills tourist dollars. Don’t punch anyone and don’t piss on the street and you will have a real good time!!!

Duh. I bet Georgia. It was at Georgia and Georgia had a lot to prove. this year would be the perfect year for a 12 team playoff. There are 6 teams that could win it. Oregon is hard to stop. Washington has a great offense. You have Georgia and Bama loaded with talent and although having offensive issues, would you want to play either in a 12 team playoff. This year would be so fun for a playoff with no unbeatable teams. Alas next year is the year for it.

I’ve never seen a team that in the NFL will beat 3 teams 108-13 and then act like they can’t play football. The penalties like lining up offsides and personal fouls and stupidity didn’t help but we can’t play physical football. Teams smash us in the mouth. How do you win 30-0, 40-10 and 38-3 and then forget how to play defense. Even if Dallas could run the ball and pass the ball, no way we could score 42 on 49ers best defense in the league. We are broken and I have no clue what’s up. How many defensive breakdowns did they have leaving stars wide open. It was like big 12 defense. And then they were so physical we got like 6 guys injured. I saw it at 2am last night when I got home from phish and it was sickening. If you want to run the ball run it at Micah. He’s great but a 1 trick pony sack machine. The offense isn’t like when we had cooper. He was evidently a cancer but he got open. Dak stunk after a really sharp effort last week. Gross gross. 49ers are scary. They have no weakness. Best coached team in the league. Eagles may have the best O line, but the 49ers execute like no one else. Will be hard for anyone to beat those guys
