there’s an amazing Japanese sushi restaurant there balled NaRa-Ya. We had this insane wagyu beef tartar appetizer that was presented under a dome of smoke. Never ate raw ground beef before but it was delish!!!

Now that was a fun crowd. We all had room to get down and I tried to keep up with the kids in the back but I had no chance. Full on get down with 50 hard hard dancers ruling the back and post D/S when the gawkers left the entire place was in full get down. Watching 300 peeps no matter if they ever danced before all get down b/c if you weren’t shaking your bones you’d be really out of place, is always a hoot!! We left drenched and exhausted and hit the road for the 4 hour drive home. Thank you DSO for reminding us what our favorite band does like no other!!! When I say DSO is Meilis fav band they are like that’s because of you. No. I did start it of course. There’s nothing that does it for her like this. Dso is what the dead was for older peeps and thank you for carrying on the elite level of dead for the new and older generations and the new generation was on display in Chattanooga and their get down was fun to be involved with. you’re right that winning is all that matters in the nfl, but the eagles don’t look as dominant as they did last year. Dallas fired Kellen Moore who when Dak wasn’t injured had the highest scoring offense in the NFL over the last 3 seasons. This year the offense isn’t what it was. Worst red zone team vs best last year. He got fired for not putting us over the hump vs the 49ers….now we likely wish him back.

It’s one of the epic new breed of large dedicated music venues for bands that 2k is too small and arenas are too large. It has the biggest flat GA dance floor there is. I think the GA floor part only is like 4k capacity and overall capacity is 6k. The PA is fantastic. Very loud. It’s a cashless joint fyi. You will have big fun!!!!! Lots of places to drink within 100 feet. It’s got a really easy Uber pickup and drop off spot. It’s part of a 2bil development and it’s patrolled by cops and cameras but that’s just for protection from violence. In pretty much every big city weed is irrelevant to cops in tourist areas. They care about protecting the tax base and a shooting kills tourist dollars. Don’t punch anyone and don’t piss on the street and you will have a real good time!!!

Duh. I bet Georgia. It was at Georgia and Georgia had a lot to prove. this year would be the perfect year for a 12 team playoff. There are 6 teams that could win it. Oregon is hard to stop. Washington has a great offense. You have Georgia and Bama loaded with talent and although having offensive issues, would you want to play either in a 12 team playoff. This year would be so fun for a playoff with no unbeatable teams. Alas next year is the year for it.

I’ve never seen a team that in the NFL will beat 3 teams 108-13 and then act like they can’t play football. The penalties like lining up offsides and personal fouls and stupidity didn’t help but we can’t play physical football. Teams smash us in the mouth. How do you win 30-0, 40-10 and 38-3 and then forget how to play defense. Even if Dallas could run the ball and pass the ball, no way we could score 42 on 49ers best defense in the league. We are broken and I have no clue what’s up. How many defensive breakdowns did they have leaving stars wide open. It was like big 12 defense. And then they were so physical we got like 6 guys injured. I saw it at 2am last night when I got home from phish and it was sickening. If you want to run the ball run it at Micah. He’s great but a 1 trick pony sack machine. The offense isn’t like when we had cooper. He was evidently a cancer but he got open. Dak stunk after a really sharp effort last week. Gross gross. 49ers are scary. They have no weakness. Best coached team in the league. Eagles may have the best O line, but the 49ers execute like no one else. Will be hard for anyone to beat those guys

When you are doing half the shows, you get pretty strong but covid fucked a lot up and our 4 hour mega cardio events are missing bigly from our lives and I need those for my physical health. So the giants tried the eagles nearly unstoppable 1yd QB sneak and they lost their center and another O lineman for a while. Thats nuts. Their 4th and 1 was a fail. The reason the eagles are so good at it isn’t b/c hurts gets a push. It’s b/c the eagles have the best O line in football and Hurts can squat 600 pounds. I drool over the eagles O line. It is what Dallas had in 2016 but we couldn’t stop Rogers on a 3rd and 15.

Eagles are way underperforming this year, but they have a great O and D line and 2 great receivers. Your running QB is perfect for your setup. Dallas vs Arizona had 3/5 OL ruled inactive right before game. Backups didn’t practice to play. Last week we got 2 back and we smoked

KY only has a small shot b/c Bama and Georgia don’t have a top 5 college QB like they have had. The talent gap to them is steep

there are 15 QBs in the league that can make the throws if they have protection. Chiefs only scored 9 one SB b/c they couldn’t block. It’s all about the O line and receivers that can get open.

Oh Kentucky isn’t going anywhere. They have Tennessee, Georgia, Bama and then South Carolina and Missouri are toss up games. 8-4 is a likely result going 3-4 to finish. this year a Washington or USC or Oregon could be a legit playoff team. It’s been a while since the pac 12 had a team that could actually compete vs the actual big dogs. I took advantage of my legal Kentucky betting signup $200 free bet on Bama -16.5 which seemed way high but they covered pretty easily. I did hedge it with a $50 bet the other way as I was gonna leave with money for sure. What’s funny is meili doesn’t gamble but set her up and acct and hedged every free bet on draftkings and she cashed an extra $250 from the over the top signup and referral bonuses. She was skeptical about my plan but I just bet both teams with each free bet. She thoufht that was boring so dropped her a bet on Dallas and also the hapless Eagles who didn’t cover of course.

Kentucky gets no respect. Top 20 recruiting classes year after year. Yeah they get the SEC effect where the top players want to play top teams but still they are recruiting some studs. Lots of defensive players drafted over the last 5 years. 4-0 to start the year and not ranked. Let’s see if they can hold this 23-0 lead vs Florida and they will catapult up.

SB quality roster? Arizona scored all 5 possessions in the 1st half. They were missing 3/5 of the O line as a last second scratch. The red zone offense sucks v/c we can’t run the damn ball when it matters. We ran it 5 straight times on the last drive in the red zone and got nowhere.

Weak excuse to cancel. It’s not her exact due date is it? We did that dso drive in run in Maryland at 7.5 months preggers and would have done it later. By baby 3 they just pop out in 10 mins and you really don’t even need a doctor. Just have some good scissors and practice your knots. But I do understand that if you popped it out in Jamaica, you wouldn’t have a passport for him which could be a bit sticky coming back through customs. “How much did you pay for that baby? we are 75% Caucasian here. We are the tiny blue blip. And….DSO actually played a show here in 2003 at our 3k capacity performing arts center. I was living in Nashville at the time. My life is quiet and hibernation until travel. It used to be 8-9 months hibernation and up to 4 months travel but that was unsustainable and I suspect if we stayed in NOLA a 9th day during jazzfest 2019, I’d have gone into liver failure. Night 8 at voodoo dead having a smoke outside I sorta fell out not realizing i was turning sideways and some guys caught me. That place will kill you!! i hate traffic. Hate it. Rush hour Nashville daily sucked. Never want that again.

if you don’t have a QB you are in trouble. Bama benched their QB1 for a much much worse dude. They gotta figure it out. Too many good teams in the sec west that can beat you if you aren’t playing well.

I like living in a smaller city. Luckily we are the economic hub of the area with 2 full service hospitals that serve the 250k people in surrounding counties which brings lots of professionals here. We also have the western district of KY federal courthouse that brings more than our share of lawyers here. The surrounding counties are white supremacist strongholds but we are the little blue blip in a sea of red. It’s a cute little town. My mortgage is eye poppingly low. Everything I need besides shows, which many of us have to travel for besides the 5 a year some get locally, I have. I do lack live music on weekends if we did anything at night anymore.

I was referring to FB peeps who demand the band play within 5 miles and don’t think a 1 hour drive is local. Unfortunately with a 2.75yr old, getting on planes are few and far between. But I will be doing 4-5 fall tour shows. Birmingham>Atlanta>Chattanooga then St. Louis and maybe chicago after. Our small local airport no longer has the 7am flight to chicago that lets us end up anywhere and now only flies to Charlotte. The other option is the 2 hour drive to Nashville which is no biggie if a direct flight. Last year for New Years dso we tried to find a flight that could get us to Albany leaving same day but the best we could find was 1 connection getting us there a few mins before show time. In the old days Philly was great b/c southwest flies there direct and cheap but having to add a travel day makes it too rough on the grandparents. Little boss is a handful.

I haven’t been on FB for prob 8 years but it’s always funny to read the Tour comments. One that recently made me giggle was someone said “Columbus finally!!!” I guess Thornville is too long a haul. The northeasters are the greediest. If you don’t have the northeast on every tour those peeps are pissed. But I did learn that New York is way too far for someone from New England to travel b/c of all the hate if there isn’t a show in New Hampshire or Boston.

jets went all in with a 2yr window before cap hell and cuts come their way just like they hit the Rams. Unfortunately my cowboys won’t go all in b/c Jerry wants at least above average teams annually without making the serious SB push by trading for 1-2 difference makers. He covets draft picks more than anything and he hopes against hope that no injuries will derail a paper thin O line like last year. He plays the long game hoping the draft picks will be ready to play in 1-2yrs vs trading for a stud. The last time we traded high we got Amati cooper and the season turned around. This year we are already counting on UDFA rookies to play O line as the last week of practice took out a starter and the backups are all horrendous
