  1. Really fun and interesting show. song selection had us guessing at first but pretty quickly became apparent it was elective. Loved dancin with the old time tighten up jam. Lisa was amazing on you aint man enough and masters of war. very happy to hear pride of cucamonga - had a feeling that was coming. and sing me back home was perfection - you could hear a pin drop. looking forward to new haven.

  2. This was one of those shows that reminds me why I like to keep coming back. Amazing energy the entire show, especially Scarlet Fire, where everything expanded and you could feel the whole room lifting. Killer jam out of drums, ferocious entry into Johnny B Goode where I thought it was just the two step part of Aroundx2. Everyone I talked to post show and the following day mentioned the Scarlet Fire and how good it was šŸ”„šŸ”„

  3. Don't have a full setlist yet but I think I've narrowed it down to an elective or a show from 1973 since I know they played Let Me Sing Your Blues Away. Anyone know? Cue Black Peter EDIT - Now we have it: Original Recipe Set 1: Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo ; Silver Threads And Golden Needles ; Loose Lucy ; You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man) > Sittin' On Top Of The World ; Big Iron ; It Must Have Been The Roses ; The Race Is On ; Let Me Sing Your Blues Away ; Dancing In The Street Set 2: Here Comes Sunshine ; Maggie's Farm > Cumberland Blues ; Big Boy Pete ; Pride Of Cucamonga ; Eyes Of The World > Uncle John's Band > Masters of War > Sing Me Back Home > China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider Encore: Walking The Dog * One drummer elective. Dino on drums. Rob K drums on encore I'm sure it was all great but that segment from Eyes forward looks damn juicy!

  4. Further research courtesy of count2: On 9-1-79 Bertha -> Good Lovin' closed a 2nd set, whereupon the next 13 iterations proceeded to also close the last set. Culminating with the final closer on that 11-2-84 BCT show. It there would only be one more in set 2, that '93 Meadowlands show. Fascinating, for geeks at least. Also, there were 27 Need a Miracle -> Bertha -> Good Lovin', beginning shortly after 3 passes of a Miracle set 1 closer followed by a Bertha -> Good Lovin' set 2 opener. Took a few tries for them get it just exactly perfect. šŸ˜

  5. Forgive the shameless plug, but there's no need to be counting in this day and age. Just go to https://www.gratefulsets.net and do a search like so:

  6. Many times as show opener also, if my fried brain serves me correctly. Dark Star had a few Bertha>Good Lovinā€™ combinations in their set lists a little while back which triggered some investigation on my part. Bertha rocks, one of my favorites, going back to my beginnings. Always loved watching the crowd bounce to that one. ā€¦.and Good Lovinā€™, come on, thatā€™s Bobby channeling PigPen. Even a blind man knows when the sun is shining, cuz he can FEEL itā€¦..!!!
