  1. Quantum mechanics? Entangled heads? There must be a reason charmed and strange quarks spin. 😀
  2. That’s just exactly perfect!
  3. Good times at the Green Mill in decades gone by.

    Where is the “love/adore” button?
  5. I’m busy waiting to arrange. The game’s afoot.
  6. Skip’s “I started out on Fred Astaire” and “I’m going back to Ginger Rogers, I do believe I’ve had enough” in Frederick was one of the best ever.
  7. As aptly noted, from Fantasy on was nonstop psychedelia. It was a weekend beyond description. This was for you, Ron. You will always be missed.
  8. Skip’s air bass solo... 😎 Deep family love...
  9. This is an extremely strong hmmm...
  10. Yes, all the dance combines for sure. i know we were so worn out after that barnburner; there was room and we made the most of it. And seems like Frank was there too, from what I remember talking to you all on that cool deck at set break. I was traveling with the Cat and we had a decent number of folks over in our spacious suite type place after the show. The elegant way is always a pleasure.
  11. This is an interesting topic. I have stayed out of it up to this point since I neither dance nor see shows and my track record is deplorable. But thanks to Tea and August West, with some vicarious motivation from MC, I feel like I might have enough experience to venture an opinion and expand on the underlying theme here. So I will say that my 5/7, 5/8, and 5/9/77 DSO shows are AC 10/8/06, of course 5/19/07, and that wonderful night in Hilton Head on 2/14/09. The world needs more Big Iron>Jack-a-Roe. Set and setting for each of these was just exactly perfect. The music never stopped after the first trifecta...
  12. Greg and everyone else, the one I was thinking of is now archived and closed for comments, alas. It was started by Herdy (several of us were sitting around in Harford County and thought of that Lovelight) on 9/29/07. Lisa owned that song...Lisapen! Last post in the thread is by Blythe on 5/21/17 as part of a 10th anniversary revival appreciation. There are some good people in there! And there is a link to the original review in that thread too. FWIW, I will try to attach it.
  13. There is a school of thought (to which I subscribe) holding that to be the 5/8/77 of DSO shows. The set list was just exactly perfect and doesn’t show the unreal teasing of The Eleven. A thread devoted to the memory of that show is floating around here. It’s a good walk down memory lane. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then but that remains a special night.
  14. There was a lot going on that night.😃
  15. I think some of us remember that show... ❤️❤️❤️
  16. Hmmm...not a “yes” and not a “no” at the moment, but a very strong “hmmm”
  17. “Finally: Any song by Talking Heads for an Impressionable Ambassador Extraordinaire noted above!!! ” I’ve been blessed to see them do Up All Night at Martyrs and Nothing But Flowers during a very special night at the Ledges. There is an awesome TH cover band out there too. I’m excited to see them again also. Of course, the less we say about it the better.
  18. Not that I remember. And TN had some great setlists. I’ll ask a few other folks and wait for delivery each day until 3...
  19. At least he wasn’t stationed too far from home. https://www.military.com/off-duty/music/2021/01/04/completely-lacking-soldierly-qualities-why-army-booted-jerry-garcia-60-years-ago.html?ESRC=eb_210105.nl
  20. Love and miss you my brother more than words can tell. Not GD lyrics but gratefully now in rotation: If you had just a minute to breathe and they granted you one final wish Would you ask for something like another chance? Or something similar as this? Don't worry too much It'll happen to you as sure as your sorrows are joys
  21. A mere “like” does not do justice to that Hyrider setlist. It is the embodiment of “just exactly perfect.”
