Four months to go... I just hope I can last that long !!! What, with the "Mighty High" festival being held on the previous weekend, and Memorial Day following, it is sure to be one hell of a great week !!! I really like Bergen Pac, and it is only 12 minutes drive from my house... could not be more convenient (except for Mexicali Live, which is only 5 minutes away!) Yeah, it's true I am a bit spoiled having DSO play in the Northern NJ area several times a year. It sure is easy for folks from "away" to bash the Garden State, as there are quite a few negative attributes one could list (air quality, traffic, lack of good road signs, etc.), but we also have a lot of benefits, and DSO playing hear often is just one of them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Speaking of Mexicali, a bunch of us will be there on Friday, Feb 3rd to see Ripple. I can't make the start of the Southbound tour, so it's the only game in town for me. They recently re-united after a 10 year hiatus and will be playing 3 full sets of all GD material. They are very good, imo better than Splintered, and certainly better than Wigjam. Ronnie Penque (NRPS) fronts and also includes Johhny Markowski on drums from the New Riders. Hope to see you there Topher. I'll be hanging with nwnj Steve, who will be videotaping.
