I doubt with the uncertainty in the world that this would instantly sell out 10 months in advance. It usually is announced at Jubilee and doesn’t sell out for months. Last year they added a 2nd resort and you don’t want to have to shuttle. You want to be able to walk to your room between sets etc. so if you are 100% I’d pull the trigger. But I bet you could get a flight pretty cheap booking now.

Sold Out!!! I was there at 8 am and everything was gone. Hope everyone else got tickets... May have to find a new hobby if we cant get tickets to DSO shows anymore...20 years of following the band and I have never seen tickets sell as fast as Felton and JITS 2021. Is it all the new Slow and Company fans making ticket demand go through the roof????

I think it’s people’s lack of shows over the pandemic. By the time Felton rolls around, it would be around 15 months since DSO played shows out west. The east coast drive in shows have sold slower, but we also got a big batch of them in the fall. I think when bands start playing theaters at full capacity, tickets in general will be tougher to get, at least for a while, to quench everyone’s thirst, but I also think DSO‘s popularity will continue to increase to where the tickets are tougher to get or the venues get larger.

It also seems like JITS is just popular enough that people want to go back again. After 8 years of doing this, they have enough past attendees to sell it out. Might as well not make a public announcement until after pre-sale folks have had their chance. Or better yet, go twice a year!

Even the official Dso Facebook account replied that not to fret that tickets don’t usually instantly sell out after someone missed out on the presale lol. Dso picked too small of a resort. In 2023 I heard a rumor that they were booking the entire Atlantis hotel and casino in the Bahamas for JITS 10th anniversary. 3800 guest rooms sounds perfect. Plus we can go gamble all night after the show.  I’m in!!!

As I mentioned when drive ins and pods began...the price to see DSO is going up. Also mentioned was willingness for less crowd for more money...got that.

Hard to get tix for touring jam band...been there before

The JK effect should not be ignored.

ive been to every jam in the sand. I went when the event didn’t sell out. I poured heart out in reviews of the event. Shared how magical it ways. Mostly heard too expensive. Rather do several runs for that money. I even got called a resort hippie. Since when do you think I call myself a hippie anyway. I like the Grateful Dead not hairy armpits, granola, and whatever fuck is in that green slimy drink I see these kids with patch pants and skirts drinking.

One general theme of my reviews has always been once you go, it becomes a priority to go back. We have a jam in the sand community and I’m glad that we get first crack at the tickets. I’m sorry people got shut out but I’m glad those that supported this event when it needed support are rewarded for their support. We wouldn’t be having jam in the sand 2022 without the support of the previous attendees.

I was one of the lucky ones and got in at the sister resort. My wife was on it exactly at 10am and secured our spots. First timers and excited as hell! At first I was a little chapped that folks who went in the past had first dibs but on reflection (and what Mason's said above) I guess those whom supported the Jam in the past should be given some accommodation. Hey! I drink that green slimy stuff and have never felt better!
