Once gatherings are relaxed to 50-100 peeps we need to come together and throw a private gathering for a weekend with a local dead band. Mask up and camp with 2 nights of music. Need someone with a big enough piece of property to host it. :)

Just need to reschedule summer tour to Idaho. If the local government tried to cancel a show they would march with guns and the show would be back on. Maybe host it on Ammon Bundys ranch. Those guys take over buildings and don’t get in trouble. They wouldn’t even get a notice for having a large gathering. Plus we’d be super safe there since everyone would have ar-15s. We all know once everyone is armed the chance of gun violence goes to 0. That’s America’s problem. We don’t have enough guns.

The “diversity” of the fans would fit.

lol I thought that but didn’t say it. It’s not that deadheads aren’t welcoming. It’s just a very homogenous group. They may also think SYF flags are our militia flag. Skeletons and lightning. Cool bro. You hate the government too.

but you are right. Our white privilege will keep us safe. Just please no one have any Hillary or god forbid any obama 2012 stickers. Might as well have an isis flag flying if you have any Obama references. I’ll print some god bless my AR-15 stickers that will keep you safe while driving.

Northeast summer cancelled mostly today. I thought trump said everything will be back to normal by summer. I’m confused. Isn’t everyone taking their chloroquine like the president said?  Ignore the VA study that said it killed more than not taking it. Use the French study of 20 people who showed it shaved a whole 3 days on average off the recovery Rate. Maybe he needs to say it will disappear every day to make it so. Hes gods chosen one so he has that power on his side. Use it!!! Heal the afflicted trump Jesus. Washing feet. I don’t think so. Did you see her feet?  Nasty.

Well, I’m calling the Hamilton today to get my refund for the cancelled acoustic shows. So sad, heavy heart. I started this ‘thing’ 39 years ago. My second Grateful Dead show (the first one where I was aware, not just in awe.) was acoustic.  I was really looking forward to Dark Star Orchestra acoustic. I’m proud to say I was at their 1,000th show acoustic celebration at the Birchmere. I’ll never forget looking down the edge of the stage and seeing the  singers laying out ‘Attics’ just So beautifully. I made up my mind after seeing the set list from one of their acoustic shows in California a year or two ago, which included ‘makes no difference’ that if they came even somewhere close to home with acoustic that I would be there, no matter what.
I hope and pray, wish, and believe that Dark Star Orchestra will endure through these dark, surreal times. We all need a show. The band needs to dust off those rusty strings just one more time. Persevere on to 3,000 shows and beyond. We are deadicated, loyal and somewhat responsible. We will be there supporting you while you support Our need to shake our bones.
Gotta get back to where you belong,

a little bit harder, just a little bit more...

Holding steady for Pisgah~

NC phase 2 started Friday.

Phase 3, 6 weeks away?

Here are Gov. Cooper’s 3 phases of lifting stay-at-home restrictions
https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/north-carolina-governor-lays-out-3-phases-lifting-restrictions/T5VLXKAVTZHTBNZZ3C6YHJNQZI/

I might fly into Asheville Aug 22 afternoon and fly back right after show. That's if Pisgah happens...

I’m keeping my eyes open for Pisgah too. Haven’t bought tickets because I’m already holding so many tickets for postponed shows that I don’t know the rescheduled dates for. May have to make the purchase and hope for the best. 😬🤞

Purchased Pisgah as you can expect reduced capacities will be necessary especially early on.

Holding my Lockn tix...Expect DSO there if it happens.... on the originally scheduled Thursday...would be Oct 1.
Social distance plan for both is doing VIP lol

I want music bad. I want to dance and share my passion and joy as much as anyone alive I would argue. I have paid 3 times the amount to experience the joy. Sometimes the scalper won. BUT....

We can not make the arts and entertainment for the privileged, the elite. It’s the poor, the sick, and the downtrodden that need the spirit of this music the most. We must not make it so the guy that sells the pins and the patches or the t shirts or the grill cheese can never come inside. We can not do that.
