E: U S Blues. without Bruce Hornsby last New Speedway 70/09/20 [1371] Opening chapter of the 1991 book, 77 in all. Well rested and in familiar surroundings, the boys find the form quickly. Well executed Althea, MIDI rich Ramble, a spirited New Speedway on point for the break out, played 30 total times including this one. Second set full of chunky goodness, the Jam into drums interesting, Sugar Mags a certified set closer. Safe travels and enjoy Tempe West Coasters. Praise DSO.

Goode. first We Can Run first Standing on the Moon The first of 73 shows for the boys in 1989, and the first of the closing run at HJK. Opening sequence carried with fresh energy and voices, showing extra care to each play. Quite the contrast between Desolation (11:05) and Don't Ease (3:34). Solid second includes rare post drums He's Gone (10:18) played almost on top of a spirited DEW (12:03), Jerrylicious. Safe travels and enjoy the Show Box West Coasters. Praise DSO.

Late show Casey Jones, Mama Tried, Big Boss Man, China>Rider, Mason's Children, Cryptical>Drums>Other One>Cryptical> Cosmic Charlie, Uncle John's Band>Black Peter, Dire Wolf, Good Lovin', Dancin'. E; St. Stephen>Midnight Hour. The second of a two night run at Fillmore East. A "Magnificent Seven" show (T.C. keys, Pig percussion) that the band broke in the Workingman's Dead material. Mason's Children was recorded for the album, but left off the final track list. Praise DSO.

Uncle John's>Lovelight, Sisters and Brothers, Franklin's Tower, Touch of Grey. We Bid You Goodnight. Quite a bit of entertainment for a free cover. Great local band, giving it their all.
