The Billy “pods” were just 2 guardrails in an “L” shape open on two sides. I didn’t go up front to premium area but roaming and spreading out were not issues

I’ve been told, (albeit from a random person I don’t know) that it’s the VIP area from past jubilees So I’d say I’m only about 55% confident that is true 😆🤣

I saw somewhere campers can arrive two hours prior to gates opening. So 2:00. I’m planning on getting there 1ish

I have noticed last few times I’ve gone thru presales I end up with undesirable seats. I guess when you are excited enough to be one of the first to buy tickets, but also so poor that you only search the cheapest option, you get stuck outside the speakers. 🤣😆🤣 When I bought Bobby and Wolf Bros tix thru presale at the palace I could touch the ceiling from my seat. I did Saturday Billy show from way in the back. Sound was good from wherever. only time I’ll know what premium anything feels like is if I win it in a contest or giveaway 😆🤣

I assume there will be dates dropping soon because I just got an email about an upcoming 2 day stand at waterfront park in Louisville mid july

I wish they had some sort of camping for Billy at LV. I’m hitting those as well as the Garfield park show.

I’m curious if I were to have someone come up for Saturday, if they could join our campsite provided we are under the limit? Ticketing says that’s on the venue and the venue has been non responsive. I’m guessing that’s a no because I’d imagine they all want you arriving together, but if I could that would allow me to camp by the truck and not have to leave Saturday for the post graduation extraction 😆🤣

I’ve had a kid in that HS for last 8 years and this is the first time they’ve done this to my knowledge. Just to be a pain in my ass probably

My sons school did the same thing. We are still hashing out the details but he plans on being at both nights shows and graduation Saturday morning

Man that’s a tough one. I’m real bad about keeping shows separate in my mind. I remember highlights more than specific show details. Standouts for me include: The acoustic show at Buskirk Chumley in Bloomington. My first Reuben and cherish, first Chimes of freedom There was a truckin jam one year at a jubilee that almost ended me. Was the best I’d ever heard. A caution from express Live one year in Columbus was insane Indianapolis at the Vogue we got an “in the style of” ‘72 my first Two Souls in Communion One year in Black Mountain there was a lovelight where the crowd was echoing Rob B that was super awesome These are just the first moments that pop out to me.

Good god man. That is a tasty sandwich there in the 2nd.

A lot of people I ran into at the lodge were seeing DSO for the first time. It was so awesome getting to hear back from them after the show(s). After they’d had their minds blown.

Wow thanks for the support everyone 😆🤣🤣 I however will likely go full marathon and drive back some time after music Friday and return to the valley post ceremony Saturday afternoon to satisfy all involved all the while ignoring the fact that I’m too stubborn/selfish to sell tix and miss the shows 😉

Man it definitely was an awesome weekend. Luke’s schools tried to ruin it emailing that graduation is gonna be Jubilation Saturday putting me in quite the predicament. My boy says he ain’t missing 2 awesome days of music for a virtual graduation but his momma (my ex and non deadhead) says she’s watching that baby walk across a stage on graduation day So my only option as I see it as a mature responsible adult is to attempt to get DSO to announce my boy as a graduate and let him walk across the stage in his cap and gown pre show or between bands so I can send videos to the family. Win win win everyone happy. 😆🤣

I’d love a good CSNY tribute show. And good Allman Bros music is another one I really miss. I’ve seen a few ABB covers but nothing that really did them any justice

Gonna kill me to leave for home the day of that show. Already taking my youngest out of school on that Friday and don’t want to make him miss Monday too. Not to mention the 2 DSO pods/hotel took all my play money for the foreseeable future 😆🤣 Im super jealous tho, been dying to see little miss Sierra Hull and she is opening w/her husband I think

Thanks. Size shouldn’t be an issue for us. Just me and my 2 boys, my truck, tent and ez-up. I was mainly curious if we’d be able to hear from camp during the day and late night. No biggie either way. Can’t freakin wait.

Wonder what area the camping will be. Like jubilee VIP camping area or former car camping area from past jubilees? Looks like the whole field will be pods. Maybe like up behind the tree line?
