Now Listening...

Recommended Posts

I got the album box sets when it came out. It came with the booklet and a lot more music. But I hadn’t seen this either until recently. Looking at folks in line there, like in the Grateful Dead Movie, is really an exercise in “the way we were.” And Bill’s comments are priceless...

I’ll give you the Scarlet - it’s a flowery version with Donna adding her mating calls.  The Other One is excellent as well.

The Fire wouldn’t surface for the 1st time until March 1977 so you must have been hearing that Scarlett go off :)

Tha Band was certainly happy to be back!  They were beginning to find their stride after the hiatus

That is fucking funny. You're right I either thought I heard it or typed it that way outta habit. Not hard to get lost in those Donna chants.

Lol - had to pull the proverbial needle off the record due to large-scale dissention.

Had to put on the White Album instead.  Acceptable sacrifice

Maybe he remastered it. I don't think he was taping at age 7. Wonder who the original taper was.

PS Rob E, you can thank me in song.

Of all the 20min experiences I’ve had this week, listening to that ranks near the top.

3/01/2016 DSO this show is a gem. Worth the price for download admission alone is the 20+min Other One in a Cryptically Enveloped sandwich @nugs.net

9/2/1968 Betty Nelson’s Organic Raspberry Farm

the Dark Star to open is cosmic and transitions amazingly into St Stephen. The Eleven is full throttle. And on it goes non stop til the end.
