"According to Edbase (through 6/2013), Lucy in the Sky has only been played 1x since JK left. That show was 4/20/2010. For the life of me, I'm not sure if it was Jeff or Stu Allen playing lead. Someone out there will know: "

Yes Tea,,,that 2010 west coast spring tour had Stu playing lead...some really fun shows in that period....I really enjoyed a "Stir it Up" opener on one of those nights...

So I guess that means we haven't had a Lucy in the Sky with Jeff yet....hmmmmm...seems more than appropriate considering the undertones....

Blues for Allah would be really cool to hear! It would be bold to play; I'm afraid you might lose a good portion of the audience. The song is meant for a particular type of crowd. The kind of crowd I'm most fond of.

I was there too. And THAT was my white whale. Still always super stoked for it, still kind of upset that St. Stephen went into Playin this past new years....I suppose I'll forgive eventually...

Still waiting on a full JGB show even though I've seen most of the material live. Would love a Senor and surprisingly I've never got a  Quinn the Eskimo.

So even though it wouldn't be a real mind bender or anything, I think if Sisters and Brothers worked it's way into more originals I sure wouldn't mind hearing DSO play this one. What a fun tune.

alot of JGB to be honest.

Oh and deep elem blues! I would love an electric version of this tune! though it'll probably pop up as an acoustic first, though that sure as hell won't bother me none.

DSO played sisters and brothers quite a bit 2008 and 2009. Theyve played deep elum several times as well.

You definitely have the chance to hear them.

S's and B's was the encore at my first DSO show. I was hooked from the opening notes of iko iko. That was just the icing on the cake.

when Furthur did what's become of the baby at furthur fest I thought Phil was a demon that was going to devour my soul…. not in a REAL sinister sense, but def in a holy shit we aren't gonna make it outta this show kinda way…… still gives me chills!

Reminds me of the time Jerry's guitar turned into a skeleton.

I want a Jeff Masterpiece.  it's just a better song in jerry band.

I, like, REALLY want this!

there are almost no songs i didn't enjoy more at JGB than at GD shows, and obviously most of them were sung by the fat man at both. However, Masterpiece is one i didn't mind Bobby doing - it seemed to give Jer more energy when he chimed in (that Dylan collection-Postcards from the edge i think it was called is a good example) at the end
