I think the one I heard yesterday had the NFA clap from the audiance that seemed to last 15 mins.! I was thinking to myself, that had to be one of the longest NFA crowd chants out there. E; US Blues The final run for the boys at the spaceship kicks off with this solid list for 92. Same Thing #3 after the reboot, So Many Roads #4 total. On a personal note, I commuted the 3.5 hour one way trip for the two shows and worked both days. Love of Jerry and youth, along with some chemical assistance, an unstoppable mix. Sadly, there's little positive one can say about that poor '92 Spring tour. Even the show in Landover with a Dark Star, a Dew, and the first Satisfaction since '86 never really achieved lift off. Venue buoyed marginal shows in Hampton, although the lists looked fine on paper for 92. During the opening notes of Satisfaction at the Cap Centre I remember thinking how incredibly appropriate that selection was after the performance that evening, 14 songs?, Ugh. Praise DSO. It's nice to see the outdoor facility. I've enjoyed that taped for years thinking it was an indoor show 🤔 As for the 85 Spectrum shows, that was the end of the tour but they laid out some gems in that three night run, esp 4/8/85. It has a sort of laid back element to the approach compared to its cohort, but is obviously reelin and a rocking, given the tour/time. One of only nine shows with both Help/Slip/Frank and Scarlet/Fire. I also happen to love that little nugget waiting after Estimated Prophet. Have always enjoyed the lists that were being churned out in 1985, and this performance on a Saturday afternoon at the Frost no exception. Opening triad slick, Esau underrated fun, the closing triad another mini tour de force, love the late CRS. Opening three of the second what caught my eye and sent me down the wormhole. Amazingly the only Scarlet>Eyes, what a twofer. Goin' Down the Road attached to Eyes only three times, all in 1985 [2/18,4/27,6/27]. These types of list anomalies why I love 1985 so, and three Jerrys in a row to boot. Post space lengthy and chock full of goodies. Enjoy.
