  2. Yeah, I know, early to start this thread, but as I'm going to the show I grant myself such privilege. 😛 Here's my set list thus far: Dark Star Who so cavalier 2 shows in advance? Well, there's been no Star yet on the tour, and given tonight is pre-announced as 2-14-70 there will no Star there either. Moreover, Jeff will be playing Alligator Saturday, the guitar through which arguably the greatest Dark Stars ever were channeled. How could DSO proceed otherwise? See here how everything Lead up to this day...

  3. The State - a sauna in the summer, a sauna in the winter; I too loved that place. The State was the site of Scott's last show, and it is really hard to believe that was nearly 15 years ago now.

  5. Happy Valentines! My love of DSO, where I really got on the bus to stay, began 6 years ago tonight. I was at the Charlotte show and lightning struck me at the core close to the first of the second set. I kid not when I say there was an earthquake in Edgefield County, SC , where my 4th great grandfather settled in 1801, that night around 10:23 or so after leaving Surrey County Virginia where my 6th great grandfather- 8 generations ago- was born 9 milea from Jamestown in 1667. Sign comes in powerful ways and I’m glad I paid attention because my life has been enriched deeply since then to say the least. Have a beautiful day and ❤️ to you all!

  6. My memory escapes me from time to time, but I’m pretty sure that’s a killer set list for ‘93. No duds. Not much excitement for me post Brent/ beginning of the end for Jerry. That’s what’s so cool about what DSO does. They can infuse their energy into a Grateful Dead era that had marginal band energy, breath more life into than it ever had before. I’m sure they nailed it.

  7. Hi Rude, Wish me luck today--Stones Tixs for St.Louis go on sale today @ 10:00am and so do Dead & Company tixs (Only going for the Stones) Really don't like when they do two "large" acts on the same day for ticket sales--really makes it very hard to get in quick and get tickets. Love me some Stones---they were my first concert I ever saw--was lucky enough to see them in 1981 as a young 12 year old---see every tour since. Enjoy Friday

  9. The comments crack me up as the Dead Faithful are bombarding him with versions and dates they want broken down. Let him break down Stranger 3/30/84.

  10. Got my Cardinal stadium floor GA today. 31 years ago I saw the stones in cardinal stadium. Chose Louisville over Nashville and other close shows as the Midwest is the best. Nashville is a lame audience. Louisville will get down.

  11. Ah the days of multiple nights at little State Theater, followed by multiple nights at Rams Head. Yes, 2007 was a good DSO year. Praise DSO.

  12. Yep, DSO polishes those ‘90s gems til they shine. I caught the 5/17/07 DR. That was part of the run up to the beloved 5/19/07 extravaganza. Many happy memories!

  16. I love that Bobby is still Truckin. Maybe only Willie Nelson and Wayne Newton have performed as much as Bob. I’m just thankful that DSO keeps up the pace. I’ll bet I could dance in slow-motion but only if I have no choice.

  17. I think I figured it out last night. Dead and Company is a Dark Star Orchestra tribute band.
