Forum MVP Rude Posted July 18, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 18, 2018 Gr8fulpair causes this liked an image liked an image but we have no clie what image was liked because our texts are now green and not the multi functional blue. All because he said he hated the Steve jobs movie and liked ex machina and wanted to represent with an android phone to encourage female android research.

Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted July 19, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 19, 2018 I loved 7/18/89 Alpine the best of the three nights. My first China Doll had me in the dreamiest state hanging out under a clump of trees over on Phil’s side and loving the music. I stayed there until the monster Dear Mr Fantasy Hey Jude. Maybe my favorite song block ever at a show.
Forum MVP John A Posted July 19, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 19, 2018 The Ultra-Matrix tapes of those '89 Alpines are really good. Great bass.
Forum MVP Tea Posted July 21, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 21, 2018 https://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1990/07/21 By far one of the weirdest shows I ever saw - next-level weird. Thank god for that Scarlet > Fire. I was on the way to Pluto and that combo helped keep me from leaving the Milky Way. Tears of joy all the way through... Check out that Fantasy
Forum MVP Ammagamalin Crew Posted July 21, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted July 21, 2018 The World , Brent's last shows, that place was huge! Also meant no more alpine

Forum MVP Rude Posted August 23, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted August 23, 2018 On TIGDH they are playing 50yrvannuvetsaty of 8/23/68 which made me think that in 2019 I bet Dso is going to pull out some 50yr anniversary shows of the 69 shows. I’m predicting 2019 will be the year Dso really busts out lots of 69 shows!!!!!

Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted September 2, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 2, 2018 9/2/78 FOTD gives him a $15 bill and vanishes in the air. LLR builds to a thunderhead. First set Miracle is a rocker, Bobby falsetto at end is sexy. Lazy Lighting- >Supplication. Good Lovin rap. Inventiveness in Scarlet jam. Jerry shreds in Eyes. Forum MVP Greg from Chestertown Posted September 2, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 2, 2018 Yea, you heard $15 bill too? I commented on that in an earlier thread about lyrics changes, someone said they heard $50 bill. $15 bill is more funner. I heard Jerry sing in ship of fools once, forty years upon my head.....
Forum MVP BillK522 Posted September 3, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 3, 2018 30 years ago today. 9/3/88 Capital Centre, Landover, MD LTGTR, Feel Like A>Franklin's>Rooster, Peggy-o, MAMU>Big River, BirdSong. Box, Victim>Foolish>Women>Eyes>D>S>GDTR>Miracle>Dew. Sat. Nite, Ripple. Second show of the superb Fall 88 tour. The boys always seem to bring it strong for the nation's capital. The joint went berserk for the mythical Ripple, although I had vendor friends that left to set up during the Saturday Nite. We had an all time blowout at the apartment after this one. Forum MVP Tea Posted September 22, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2018 Fall Tour 1991 doesn’t get it’s due and may never will. The music was way beyond my expectations and some truly epic times were had. Disregard at your peril. https://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1991/09/22 1
Forum MVP John A Posted September 22, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 22, 2018 Fall '91 was solid, then Bill Graham's passing seemed to take another helping of air out of the sails. The October '91 Oakland run was some of the last truly excellent Dead I saw.

The incredible play that built up through 89 and through 90 didn’t stop because Brent left. Jerry was still flowing and together (mostly), and things were rejuvenated in a way via the way the band dug on Bruce’s presence and play. Forum MVP PoetryGirl Posted September 28, 2018 Forum MVP Report Share Posted September 28, 2018 Listen to the absolute thumping transition from Wharf Rat - > Slipknot-> Franklin’s You will Phil it low and loud! And for fear that I will blow the speakers and then live with that incessant rattling until it’s time for a new rig.
