Where to now St Peter?

Not the Dead, but Lisa vocals/DSO. Seems ripe for a soaring guitar addition. Sounds like an acid trip lyrically? Elton doesn't come to mind for a dead cover but this could work imo. I never knew this song until recently.

All these suggestions are perfectly well and good. Inspired, even.

But I am going to alter the premise just a tad. Here is one I would like to see DSO cover. I think they have someone who can absolutely nail the lead vocal:

Yes indeed,,I second that emotion. Would be amazing to see and hear Lisa crank out some Janis.

For a different flavor but along the same lines and altered premise, I think DSO could create a lot of beauty with Drift Away,,,perhaps Lisa on vocals for that too. Could be a sweet filler after a full throttle show

Wild Horses

Love the old and in the way version.

How about Sultans of swing? Lots of room for Jerry on guitar in that one.

DSO on Magic Carpet Ride For a filler...barraco could go off in that jam...

gotta say one of my standout pre-Covid music memories, back in February DSO suddenly did Wild Thing as a filler at one of the Portland shows....complete dance party meltdown...place went nuts
