I would be surprised if selbyville de is a one off like that. DSO has played Asheville or black mountain right around there for the last I don't know 10 years so I would bet they had to Virginia and then to Asheville from there but I don't know nothing you guys don't know. Just speculating. Maybe more than that. Maybe I'm hoping.

Agree. I think the announcement might have something to do with the venue announcement. That’s a large geographic area to feed the needs of a lot of Deadheads. Gotta be more show announcements coming. Also, the second year at freeman stage seems to indicate that there’s no more Bottle and Cork. Damn, I’m gonna miss that uneven dance floor.

Possibly waiting on ticket sales for the shows currently scheduled before adding to their commitments?

Nothing has sold out and there are a lot of exceptional cover bands throughout the nation now.

Also, if you look at the number counts on each of the posts here, there isn't as much action as there used to be.

The Covid experiment may have deep reaching tentacles in the subconscious that could be playing out in ways we never saw coming, bands and audiences alike.

Hopefully tomorrow everything is snatched up!

As for actually catching music, I got personal things that I need to devote greater attention to so I won't make us many but I'm still spoiled. Got 6 Dso shows coming. Caverns Memphis and jubilee. I'll be able to catch NJ in June and Hampton beach. Plus definitely gonna make days between festival and jubilee New York. So my cup will be full.

See you at Hampton Beach. I booked a room at Regal Inn, has decent rates right now and just behind venue. Just behind that lovely inn that directly faces the police station! Amazing that they never bothered any of us staying there despite shenanigans.

Looking forward to seeing you, Whit, and the girls soon.

Choices choices. With sights set on Europe, I sadly realize that Hampton Beach is out. I will still see you in NJ. All plans through July are booked and planned. I still plan to add some August stuff to the plans but looks like Caverns, Memphis, Jubilee, and NJ are it through July.

Here’s what my thoughts are on the tour schedules being a bit different than pre pandemic. During covid with everything up in the air, DSO booked a lot more festivals than they usually do. With those July Vermont gigs it forced them to be up north. They also committed to daze between a while back forcing them out to cali. I think Tour is going to become more normalized after they get back to adding a fest that will work at say the end of a tour like summerfest than the festival being the scheduling driver of the tour. The Midwest pretty much got the shaft b/c of the festivals dso committed to a long time ago. It’s gonna be pretty awesome when we get to add 2 days of DSO at Chris’ house right after the black mountain weekend in a few years. It would be the perfect time…..or we get DSO to play the Wednesday and Thursday right before BM since he’s only 30 minutes away. That’s the ticket!!! They could be in Asheville area 4 straight shows so missing a day off Wednesday for a private party would be no biggie. Let’s do it in 2023 Chris!! I’m sure we could pull 100 friends who do the BM shows to pitch in. Semi private 2 day fest. Includes primitive camping. Recommended donation 100-300 pp. vip comes with a daily shower. Ultra vip comes with an inside bedroom and runs 500 pp double occupancy.

The ultra VIP experience includes a short private show of barraco playing jazz keys for meili singing Ella and for the finale they duet “dream a little dream of me”. I’m sure barraco can pull out a Louie Armstrong falsetto.
