Trying to keep my spirit up but sometimes the tears come. We went to Amsterdam for the day off. First time in Europe trying to take a lot in. We could look out back, across the marsh and see that neighborhood. We used to ride our bikes through that neighborhood to get to the marina. They filled in the marsh and built those houses right after world war 2. The houses settled and were all lopsided. We used to ride around and check out the houses with broken backs.
